A few more sketch concepts courtesy of 's 'verse! Specifically where Ergo Proxomitron walks into a pocket dimension containing a series of islands, each having its own population of legendary creatures. Including a hidden grove full of fairies, which become instantly enamored with the very strange, very powerful new visitor who rewards them for their hospitality, with technological gifts.

So here's a few concepts I came up with!

Titania the Fairy Queen - The ruler of the Grove, who isn't exactly what you'd call "a refined lady". Rather than distance herself from the hedonistic and playful habits of her people, she openly engages in them! Just like them, she fools around, uses magic as easy as breathing, drinks and parties all night, openly flirts with others....basically a fairy through-and-through. Yet like many others, she too found Ergo to be something she'd never known before. Something spectacular and wonderful. Something powerful, yet peaceful. Something she couldn't possibly turn her eyes away from.

Fey Diddle 652 - A vec-pet (specifically a Diddler from Neopets, with a "Fairy Brush" aesthetic) who seems to be particularly attached to Titania. Truth be told, vec-pets have always been rather popular in the places Ergo visits, although Titania got a pretty good one nonetheless. Diddlers go for relatively cheap prices, mostly because they're made with a variety of cheap, repurposed scrap parts. But what's particularly amazing is that it has a holo-game system AND a basic matter replicator stored within. I.e. this is the type of thingamajig that can make you breakfast and a drink, project a video game which would be considered 20th gen among modern day people, play a movie, clean your room...basically a very Jetsons-esque bot. Even though the Fairies use magic, and wouldn't technically need vec-pets in their daily lives, TELL me you're still thinking about technical situations with a face that cute! XD

Angstrom Proxomitron DII - YES, I intentionally made him look like the Great Gazoo. XD

But actually this isn't quite relevant to the Grove! In fact this was another idea that came about! If you haven't guessed already....this guy's a definite next generation of the Proxomitron line. Just an idea that I'm playing around with, of Ergo's son actually being an enigma even for Ergo!

Angstrom is only a child. But he has an overly big helmet which is actually a giant neural interface. Those fractal gloves on his hands are actually a kind of portable matter replicator that allows him general ability to transmute local physical matter into any sorts of material. His entire body is very tiny, and literally weightless. He appears to have total free reign over local physical matter, and his own individual self. For the most part, he doesn't speak a word, often wearing a kind of helmet obscuring his entire face. To people who first meet him, he seldom ever speaks, much less explain any of his actions.

At first glance, he's completely alien....but once you REALLY want him to take off his mask, he's not bad at all! Just a playful little kid with a smart streak. Who sometimes needs to be grounded. (i.e. casually went back in time with an Exoself, disguised himself as a humanoid, and convinced a bunch of cavemen that he's from planet "Zetox" and built a doomsday weapon that could destroy the universe. And caused a famous TV show's cancellation.)

It's just a concept for now, but might take it further some time!
