I've mentioned in my Disney Controversy meme that Pokémon has been in my life since 1998. As such, when I saw this Controversy meme, I've felt far more compelled to fill it in for myself, so prepare yourselves for some more benign PokéControversy! As if "the Pokey Man App" isn't stirring up enough of it already, haha.
It goes without saying that, if you disagree with anything I say, be civil about your responses or just don't comment. I'm not going to be childish and preach “if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all”, but I'd rather you not comment if all it's going to be is “fuck you, bitch”.
Without further adieu, here we go~!
Favourite game: Pokémon Ranger Shadows of Almia and Pokémon Platinum.
Yeah, it's a tie.
Pokémon Ranger SoA is a mostly PERFECT follow-up to the unique spin-off, Pokémon Ranger, with improved gameplay mechanics, a great story, amazing soundtrack and entertaining characters! The ability to actually RUN in this sequel was a very welcome addition, as you could only walk in the original, which ruined any sense of urgency the climax had – Shadows of Almia's ability to allow the player to run, however, not only allows for faster movement until your ability to capture a Doduo and later a Staraptor for even faster movement, but adds to the dramatic tension the Operation Brighton climax had – including the sense of urgency you had while you were climbing up the tower with Isaac! While I do wish the Partner Pokémon you could choose from were better than they were (I don't like Munchlax, Shieldon, Snover, Hippopotas or Kricketot) and I absolutely cannot STAND the male player character Kellyn, I feel the positives outweigh the negatives and I would be more than happy to sit through Kincaid's shenanigans and the Hippowdon Temple's annoying traps over and over again just to relish in such a wonderful sequel. Too bad SoA's sequel's a pile of shit.
Pokémon Platinum, however, took what made Diamond and Pearl great and greatly expanded upon it! It sped up Surf's speed, tweaked the battle graphics and sprites, even giving some of the Trainer sprites some animation, improved the overworld graphics – the Team Galactic bases look INCREDIBLE! - and even tweaked the story to give Giratina a main role! Sure, there are things in the game I can complain about, such as the inability to battle Team Galactic alongside Looker post-game, the inability to battle Charon at ANY point in the game, Cynthia being a useless bitch during the climax and...actually, I think that's about it... But, in the grand scheme of things, Pokémon Platinum is a worthy addition to the generation that changed the fates of so many Pokémon with its physical/special split. If I weren't so reluctant to do so, I'd replay my copy of Pokémon Platinum so many times just to have that dramatic final confrontation with Cyrus in the eerie Distortion World.
Honourable mentions: Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, Pokémon Pinball RS.
Despised game: Pokémon Ranger Guardian Signs and Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon.
Yep; another tie.
Hoo boy...Guardian Signs...we meet again... Why couldn't you have waited until generation 5 to pop up? You would have been more superior than you are right now...which is, in my opinion...not at all. Aside from the game literally cramming 21 (19 + the Deoxys and staple Manaphy event missions) legendary Pokémon mostly for the sake of putting them in there, it seems to have the audacity to rupture Ho-Oh and Lugia's relationships with their trios by giving Lugia's legendary Bird trio – Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres – to Ho-Oh while leaving Lugia cold turkey and only allowing it to show up once you've added every other Pokémon to the browser! At least Shadows of Almia remained true to its backstory – for lack of a better word – and had you capture the three Hoenn Regis and take them with you to the Hippowdon Temple before you meet Regigigas! I've already shared my verdict about Guardian Signs almost six years ago , so I can't really say too much about the game that I haven't said already. And I certainly don't feel like playing through the game again...especially now that the “ELITE Ranger Kellyn” thing grinds my gears even harder due to my hatred for the character himself.
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, however...is another kettle of fish entirely. I was actually excited about this one and I ended up downloading it from the eShop just to get the free theme! At first, I thought it was unique; it took a steady pace in getting the player and partner to the part where they join the expedition society while hinting the plot of the game. But...afterwards, things...started to decline; if I were an alcoholic, I'd get drunk from a little drinking game I made up – take a drink every time the words Expedition Society popped up. Seriously, they say those words so often it's ridiculous! The plot itself...seems intimidating with legendary Pokémon turning into stone and your carer Nuzleaf actually being evil – which, I have to admit, I did NOT see coming – but, as I got to the cause of it all...I was IMMENSELY disappointed; the final boss was not only a copy of the final boss from Gates to Infinity, the Bittercold, but it was ALSO a rip-off of Yami, the final boss from Okami! Honestly, I feel as though the story would have been vastly better if the game kept Yveltal as the villain because it DRAINS the life energy of other Pokémon and Oblivion Wing ends up TURNING ITS TARGETS INTO STONE in its movie début! Super Mystery Dungeon COULD HAVE EASILY WORKED WITH THAT! But nope; we get the bastard child of Bittercold from Gates to Infinity and Yami from Okami... Even now, I can't decide if Super Mystery Dungeon is a “so bad it's good” game or if it's just plain bad; I'm happy hunger was brought back and the introduction had a promising and unique start to it, but the rest of the game mechanics seemed to be unchanged from Gates to Infinity like the graphics were, the Connection Orb recruitment method was a dumb idea as far as I'm concerned due to some of the Pokémon you recruit END UP BEING HIGHER LEVELLED THAN YOU ARE – I'm looking at YOU, early-in-the-game Salamence! - and the post-game has GOT to be THE most stupidest thing I have ever seen in a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game! I've seen the Gates to Infinity post-game and I find THAT to be A LITTLE better than “your partner is the Mew who summoned you” tripe. Quite honestly, I do NOT recommend you get this game as an entry point to the Mystery Dungeon series; I'd recommend Red/Blue Rescue team first and THEN the three Explorers games for a much better experience. SPEAKING of the past games, though, those references? They weren't even trying to be subtle...urgh...
Honourable mentions: None. Heeheehee.
Favourite rival: Hugh from Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2.
I don't usually care too much for the rivals and I don't consider Keith from Pokémon Ranger Shadows of Almia to be a rival in any degree, but Hugh is the one I like the best. I do admit I like Tierno, but, again, neither he, Shauna nor Trevor felt like rivals to me – come to think of it, I can't think of ANY rival character that WAS a rival after Gary from generation 1... Anyway, Hugh, to me, is a more unique rival character; yeah, he constantly keeps you in check, but his main reason for venturing to become the strongest Trainer he can be isn't for HIM, but to find his sister's Purrloin that was stolen by Team Plasma prior to the start of the game! Throughout the story, you see how determined he is to reclaim the stolen Purrloin, only to discover it has since evolved into Liepard... Not exactly the Purrloin he was looking for, but now his little sister has a bigger kitty she can pet. But I think the best part about Hugh as far as I'm concerned is...he's not an asshole! Okay, not all rivals need to be jerks, but I think Hugh is the nicest and most helpful of the rivals introduced so far and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him over the Xtransceiver.
Honourable mentions: Nope.
Despised rival: Bianca from Pokémon Black and Pokémon White.
I have absolutely no idea why I resent most female characters, but Bianca is one character I thoroughly did NOT enjoy interacting with. I actually have nothing to say to explain this, but I don't like Bianca's character! Yeah, she had family issues with her father not wanting her to be a Pokémon Trainer until one quick speech from Elesa in Nimbasa City and I guess being a ditz is supposed to be “cute”, but...urgh, something about her drives me mad... And I honestly DESPISE that “exposed upper tooth” character design she has going...urgh...she looks like she was a Dedenne once...
Honourable mentions: Nuh-uh.
Favourite villain: Cyrus from Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Pearl and Pokémon Platinum.
Oh, come on, don't tell me you didn't see this coming! For those of you who know me, this should go without SAYING! I've stated MULTIPLE times that Cyrus is, by far, my UNDESPUTED favourite Pokémon villain of ALL TIME! Unless Alola gives us something better, but good luck reaching scales greater than THE RECREATION OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE! Yeah; that's how big it is. A lot of people I've stumbled upon have stated that Team Galactic's about taking over the world, but, underneath that lies a much deeper and much more sinister plan; using the powers of Dialga and Palkia, Cyrus's goal was to destroy the present universe and everything in it and rebuild it without spirit and, consequently, strife. Not even Lysandre's plan in Pokémon X and Y was as high on the scale as Cyrus's, despite the both of them bearing certain similarities. However, while I DO like Lysandre ALMOST as much, what makes me love Cyrus so much to the point where my Mii married him in Tomodachi Life, is his backstory: “Born and raised in Sunyshore City, he was known to be a good, albeit asocial, student, and so preferred the company of machines over humans and Pokémon. Despite being such a good student, however, he did not live up to his parents' expectations, and so felt rejected” - even now, I can still relate to him because I still sick of conflict and I actually feel unappreciated to a certain extent.
Honourable mentions: Lysandre.
Despised villain: Ghetsis from Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2.
Oh, dear...Ghetsis, where did you go wrong...? Oh, wait, I can answer that: you went wrong by having your REAL plan be...taking over the world. Yeah. That's it. Okay, no, I'll elaborate on that; he starts off promisingly by preaching for the liberation of Pokémon from humans, which, for most of the game, becomes a real thought-provoker considering the name of the game you're playing...but the ultimate plan turns out to be Ghetsis wanting to take over the world with HIM as the sole owner of Pokémon by using his adopted son N to command every Trainer in the world to release their Pokémon under the guise that humans and Pokémon should be separated. In the sequels, however, Ghetsis's plan is just another “take over the world” storyline. Yeah, he tried to kill the B2W2 protagonist with Kyurem, but...as intense as that was, it's not enough for me to put him in my good graces. Sorry, dude.
Honourable mentions: Team Rocket. ALL of it. Especially Jessie, James and Meowth from the anime.
Favourite Gym Leader: Norman from Pokémon Ruby, Pokémon Sapphire, Pokémon Emerald, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Truth be told, I DON'T have a favourite Gym Leader. I can name ones I hate, but ones I like...? Nope, too hard for me. I chose Norman because he's unique due to the fact that he's the player's FATHER and is the only Gym Leader in the past six generations to have this sort of relationship with the player. Not to mention he's so far the only “player's father” in any main series game. I say main series because the player in Shadows of Almia has both parents and a little sister. I really want more Pokémon games – main or otherwise – where the player character has a proper family!
Honourable mentions: 3 hard 5 me.
Dishonourable mentions: Whitney, Clair, Winona, Grant, Clay, B2W2 Elesa.
Favourite Elite Four: Karen from Pokémon Gold, Pokémon Silver, Pokémon Crystal, Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver.
Same as the Gym Leader; I don't have a specific favourite Elite Four – just ones I really like. I actually can't name any I hate! I chose Karen because she's the only “boss” who specialises in Dark types and is the speaker of the infamous phrase that encourages the player to play the game with their favourite Pokémon. Still waiting on that Dark type Gym Leader, Game Freak...!
Honourable mentions: Siebold, Drake.
Favourite Champion: Steven from Pokémon Ruby, Pokémon Sapphire, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
I honestly don't have much to say about this, but I consider Steven to be the best and most helpful of the Champions. Yes, Lance helped you tackle Team Rocket in Mahogany Town, but Steven helped you out against Team Magma/Aqua more times, especially in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, where he helps you protect the version exclusive Lati from the team your game has you fight against as well as battling alongside him against Team Magma in the Space Centre in Pokémon Emerald (he's not the Champion here, but I think this still counts). Again, I don't have much to say about this, but Steven's the Champion who left the longer impression on me.
Honourable mentions: ...sorry.
Favourite Pokémon: Charizard.
Need I say more? Okay, I don't consider Charizard to be THE best Pokémon in the world, nor the most powerful...no, he's my favourite because he was one of the first Pokémon I was introduced to in the form of the Pokémon Red game cartridge, just like many other veteran Pokémon players were. Back in 1998, my brother and I only had one Gameboy between us, so he'd play Pokémon Red with Charmander as his starter while I watched him, experiencing the game along with him; even now, I can remember his favourite Pokémon having been Weezing! It wasn't until the both of us ended up with a Gameboy Colour each that I was then allowed to have my own Pokémon game in Pokémon Blue; despite being a stupid kid and saving over my Blastoise by using the PC with an Ivysaur I didn't intend to keep, I grew to love my game and kept playing the series when my brother stopped by the time Pokémon Gold and Silver were released in the UK. Even though I lost a Pokémon playmate in my brother, I never stopped playing, embracing every change the series had to offer. As I write this, I am eagerly awaiting what Pokémon Sun and Moon will bring to the table, but I'm grateful to Charizard for being the Pokémon that brought the Pokémon series in my life.
Honourable mentions: Too many.
Despised Pokémon: Magnezone.
I thought this would be difficult. But it wasn't. Granted, I haven't RAISED a Magnezone, so I don't know how good it is competitively, but, honestly...I don't WANT to give it a chance! Magnezone started to leave a bad impression on me in Shadows of Almia, where it was a small boss battle in the Hippowdon Temple following the surrender of the Yellow Gem in exchange for Keith, who had been taken hostage by Sinis Trio member Heath. I had no appreciation for Keith, a character I liked pretty quickly, being used in such a despicable manner, but Magnezone's battle was fairly tough if I recall. Then Pokémon X and Y came out and Magnezone's whole family was the Pokémon you “battle” against in the Special Attack Super Training regimen and...Magnezone is ANNOYING AS SIN! It's nearly impossible to clear without having undergone several OTHER regimens beforehand and the only way I can clear it with ease is to Super Train my Pokémon in Speed first! But THEN I had a WiFi battle against someone who ended up USING a Magnezone and it SLAUGHTERED my Mega Gardevoir! I do NOT recall Trick Room being used before hand, yet it somehow MOVED FIRST! Magnezone's max base Speed, when EV trained with a +speed nature is 240, whereas Mega Gardevoir's is 328 when EV trained with a +speed nature (mine being Timid, which is a +speed nature) and I do NOT recall Magnezone being Choice Scarfed (which I THINK doubles its Speed stat), so seeing Magnezone moving FIRST against a MEGA GARDEVOIR completely baffled me! If I hadn't hated Magnezone after Shadows of Almia and Super Training, that battle certainly cemented it for me!
Honourable mentions: ...I'll save this for later...
Favourite Starter: Squirtle.
Squirtle was my very first Pokémon once I was able to play my own Pokémon game. He actually started a subconscious tradition of using the Water starter with each new generation: Totodile in Gold, Mudkip in Ruby, Piplup in Diamond and Oshawott in Black. This tradition broke in X with Fennekin and will continue to break in Sun (the version I plan on getting) with Litten, but, as much as I love each starter (and have actually used at least once), Squirtle has a special place in my heart.
Honourable mentions: The rest of them.
Favourite Mega Evolution: Sableye.
Easy choice was easy. It COULD have been Mega Charizard X, buuuuuuuuuut...nope, barely missed the mark. Mega Sableye is an example of a Mega Evolution given to a Pokémon that NEEDED a power boost rather than a Mega Evolution given to a POPULAR Pokémon to appease the fanbrats or to Pokémon that DON'T need ANY sort of boost (here's looking at YOU, future-topic-for-discussion, Charizard, Metagross and RAYQUAZA)! Upon Mega Evolving, Sableye becomes a WALL of all things, but, honestly, he becomes a GREAT wall! Not enough to save him from those bloody Mega Mawiles, but a great wall nonetheless. Actually, Mega Sableye is my favourite Mega Evolution because I know from personal experience that Mega Sableye can be a tide-turner; I had a WiFi battle against someone whose shiny Protean Greninja was rolling my Pokémon over until my Meowstic JUST BARELY hung on after a Dark Pulse and KO'd it with Signal Beam, allowing my Mega Sableye to come in and cripple the remaining Pokémon – his Magic Bounce knocked back Stealth Rock and Leech Seed, he crippled the Pokémon with Will-O-Wisp, he regained health with Recover, he boosted his stats with Calm Mind and Dark Pulsed until we barely managed to claim victory. You can see the battle with this code here: SM6W-WWWW-WW39-NCCU.
Honourable mentions: Mega Blastoise, Mega Charizard X, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Lopunny.
Despised Mega Evolutions: Mega Mawile, Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Rayquaza, Mega Mewtwo (both of them).
Favourite Legendary: Reshiram.
This was a hard choice to make, despite it being between two Pokémon. I ended up going for Reshiram because its typing is Dragon and Fire, both of which are my favourite Pokémon types (Fire especially), I love its elegant design and I love that it believes in truth, something that I personally value. I feel that truth helps to build trust, which is something else that I value. Honestly, there isn't much I can say here; Reshiram is a great Pokémon all round.
Honourable mentions: Giratina.
Despised Legendary: Mewtwo.
I don't even care. A LOT of people love this thing. I'm not one of those people. Mewtwo...is one of the most popular Pokémon in the entire National PokéDex and...I...don't get it. Yes, Mewtwo was created to be the most powerful thing to exist, but...other than that, I don't see why this thing's so popular to the point where it not only ends up with TWO Mega Evolutions it doesn't need (and would have been better off being given to two Pokémon who DO need one) AND returns in SSB Wii U and 3DS as DLC! I...have no words.
Honourable mentions: ...that's about it.
Enjoy~!

Here's mine
Favourite game: Pokemon Pearl
Yeah, I know Platinum exists, but I prefer Pearl for nostalgia factor. Pearl in fact was one of my first games and if I know many things about Pokemon it's thanks to it. Also I love the plot of it.
Honorable mentions: Mystery Dungeon Trilogy of Explorers, Ranger Guardian Signs (don't hate me please), Colosseum
Despised game: Pokepark Wii: Pikachu's adventure
Where do I have to begin with this game? Oh, yes, it's FREAKING STUPID! The plot is idiotic, the characters are totally idiots (expecially Mew and Venusaur, Blaziken and Empoleon) and the mechanics... Why. Why the final battle had to be a run. The sequel is slightly better, but this isn't enough at all to save it.
Dishonorable mentions: XD=Gale of Darkness, Crystal, Hey You Pikachu and Pokemon Channel.
Favourite rival: Hugh
I love too this rival. I always loved the part in the games where you face the evil team, and being Hugh bonded with it helped gaining this position.
Honorable mentions: Silver, Gladion.
Despised rival: Hau
Hau is the worst pokemon character to date. It's so stupid and annoying. Thank God Gladion exists.
Dishonorable mentions: Blue, Shauna.
Favourite villain: N
I don't know if you consider him as a villain, but the truth is that I LOVE this character. His deepness, his back story, his personality made him my favourite character in pokemon in general.
Honorable mentions: Archie, Blake.
Despised villain: the Go-Rock Quads
I consider the Go-Rock Squad the worst evil team ever. As much as I love the first Pokemon Ranger, I can't be helped but considering it has the most stupid evil team to date. Gordor doesn't save himself much, but his final redemption in the Manaphy's special mission saves him to be the worst member. The Go-Rock Quads are just stupid, and their motto... God, it's even worse then the Jessie and James' one. And what's the worst? They appear IN EVERY RANGER GAME!
Dishonorable mentions: Jessie and James, Darkrai (Mystery Dungeon)
Favourite Gym Leader: Blaine
It's cool.
Honorable mentions: Brycen
Favourite Elite Four: Lance
Same as Blaine. Also I loved cooperate with him in the Rocket Hideout in the Johto games.
Honorable mentions: Agatha, Volcano
Favourite champion: Cynthia
I like her personality and her battle difficulty. Also I think she's the most beautiful girl in the pokemon games.
Honorable mentions: Alder
Favourite Pokemon: Sceptile
God, I love this pokemon. His coolness, his artwork, his mega... It's all perfect.
Honorable mentions: Hydreigon, Pangoro
Despised Pokemon: Gyarados
Ugh, him... I actually have three reasons to hate him: it scared me when I was little (and still now I don't understand why it is in the games), it's ugly and over all it's goddammit freaking difficult to defeat without electric types (and trust me, I tried several times).
Dishonorable mentions: Steelix, Alolan Ninetales
Favourite (base form) Starter: Scorbunny
This pokemon is-freaking-ADORABLE! From the first time I saw him I loved it, and I have very high expectations from his evolutions.
Honorable mentions: all the grass types (except for Chespin and Grookey)
Favourite Mega: Sceptile
I loved it as soon as I saw it. If Sceptile was cool, his mega is even more. Also how much are funny the puns on his tail?
Honorable mentions: Venusaur, Rayquaza (again, don't kill me)
Favourite legendary: Reshiram
It's goddamn cool and it's also the first legendary I caught on my own.
Honorable mentions: Lugia
Despised legendary: Darkrai
I know many would set me, my family and my house on fire for this, but Darkrai is so freaking creepy! Also, I didn't like him as villain in Mystery Dungeon and his boss fight in Shadows of Almia was seriously the easiest in the game.
Dishonourable mentions: Mew.

Favorite Pokemon game... that's a tough one, but if I had to choose, I'd probably go with X and Y. Though Moon comes very close for me.
Least favorite, well, let's face it, Hey You, Pikachu! Biggest disappointment ever. You get to order a Pikachu around with a microphone and most of the time, Pikachu mishears your commands. It's just a good thing so many people were not subjected to this one, because I wouldn't wish this on any Pokemon fan.
Personal favorite rival is also Hugh. You took the words out of my... uh... keyboard?
100% agreed about Bianca. She's such an airhead. The fact that she was the first of the main cast to defeat Trip makes it even more painful how unlikable she is.
Favorite villain would have to be Lysandre. He was the only interesting member of Team Flare and easily the most fleshed out of all the villains.
As for despised villains, also Ghetsis. He basically represents everything wrong with PETA. I mean, okay, that's a good satirical jab at them, but it doesn't make him likable. And the fact that he's the only villain who never battles you only makes him worse.
Too hard to pick a favorite gym leader. Same for Elite 4. As for champion, yeah, Kukui has easily replaced them all. Not only is he so nice, likable and helpful, but the fact that he actually changes one of his Pokemon to battle your starter is genius.
To pick a number 1 favorite Pokemon is like picking a favorite child. Again, I just can't. As for least favorite, I'll always go with Garbodor. I've seen people take garbage Pokemon and make them look cool with fan designs, but this guy's hideous. (Though ironically enough, I made a fanfic series where Pokemon are super heroes from other planets who interact with humans, and Garbodor is an ally for the main characters. Though he does start off as an antagonistic hero who's out for revenge on the main character because her uncle screwed over his father, Trubbish, during an Olympic event)
Favorite starter, I'll just go with each region for this one. In ascending order from Kanto all the way to Alola (And this is including evolutionary lines), Squirtle, Cyndaquil, Treeko, Chimchar, Oshawott (Used to be my least favorite and then became my favorite when I saw Samurott), Froakie and Popplio.
Mega Evolution, tough pick but I'd have to go with Blastoise. (Though interestingly enough, Mega Lucario is another main lead in that fanfic I mentioned, though he goes under the name Jackalu and acts like a pretentious child. Even has his own victory song and everything)
Favorite legendary would have to be Yveltal. I just love its design.
Least favorite, a hard pick, but I'd probably have to go with Regigigas. Its design is fine for what it's going for, but as far as legendaries go, it's probably the least useful in combat. As for Mewtwo, I think a big part of the reason people like him so much is because, well, he was featured in two of the films and he was one of the first. People tend to really play favorites when it comes to gen 1 in general. I like him fine. I think he's cool, but the best of the best? Far from it.

this seems fun i may do it when i have time anyways i bet your waiting for a sinnoh remake.... which i say it will come out next year as it will be 10 years since it came out in usa, btw what do you think of the new trailer of sun and moon an the new pokemon / forms of old pokemon ,me i love love ninetails but hate Exeggutor....

I dunno about the gen 4 remakes to be brutally honest... If they can find a way to make Cynthia, Looker and Charon more useful in the remakes than they were in Pokémon Platinum by battling alongside them and against them respectively (with Cynthia in the Distortion World and with Looker elsewhere, but against Charon), I'd be happy. Other than that, I'm not sure about the remakes.
The Alolan Exeggutor legitimately creeps my best friend out, but I still like the Alolan forms concept; it's like a sub-species of a certain Pokémon.

Pokemon XD sort of had a family going on. You had a mother and a sister canonically, and your starter Eevee's met location was listed as a gift from your father. I mean, you never get to see your father since he's deceased, but he's a frequently mentioned topic and seems to hold quite a lot of importance not only to your character and his family, but also to the other members of the lab. You do get to interact numerous times with your sister and mother, though your sister will quickly drive you many levels of insane. Nonetheless, there was a family bond going on there.

I knew about Gale of Darkness, but didn't mention it because the father was deceased; when I said "full" family, I meant both parents AND at least one sibling like you had in Shadows of Almia. And, yeah, Jovi is on SO MANY levels of annoying!

Ah, ok. I guess it can count as half a point, then. It's just a shame that your in-game parents are rarely useful to the storyline. It seems like all your Pokemon moms only exist for the purpose of giving you unneeded tutorials. I'd love to have another accomplished parent. Norman was nice in the sense that he was accomplished as a gym leader, and while your father was deceased in XD, he was accomplished before his passing as well. All I wanted was for Jovi to leave me alone.
I stole this last night, by the by. Hope you don't mind.

I had fun with it, too; some were easy, though, like my despised game(s) and legendary Pokémon, but it was fun 8D

Despised game was hands down the easiest category for me to pick. Some of these made me stop and think for a moment, though. Nonetheless, I liked getting my thoughts out.

Truth be told, I actually forgot about the Societea until I saw your meme...
...I miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight have to change my despised villain segment at some point... I just wish it had a despised (overall) character; that'd EASILY be Kellyn.

Likely because you were trying your best not to think of them anymore.
I was actually curious that you didn't mention them. I guess I have my answer as to why now. That section might've been problematic for me. There are quite a few characters I strongly dislike in the Pokemon series.

If it weren't for Kellyn, my most disliked character would have been Cynthia with honourable mentions going towards Charon and Looker due to wasted potential. No idea if Cynthia would be an honourable mention, though, because I honestly don't hate her as much as I used to; I'm kind of neutral about her despite how absurdly useless she was in Pokémon Platinum.
