The first completed entry in my Perfect Toa Nuva project.

This is Tahu, the Toa Nuva of Fire. Having led the most powerful team of Toa in known history through unbelievable trials, Tahu has grown into a very capable leader. He and the other Toa Nuva have fought Rahi, Bohrok, Rahkshi, Piraka, and even the Makuta themselves.

He stands about nine and a half inches tall, with three-point waist articulation, flexing trapezius, individually poseable fingers, and three blades; the two fire broadswords combine with a third smaller sword to form his quintessential lava surfboard.

EDIT 8/16/18: When I first started this project almost ten years ago, I had a specific goal in mind. I insisted on keeping their original masks and colors to keep the feel of the Toa Nuva, but I wanted to optimize their proportions and articulation as much as possible. To that end, I named them the Perfect Toa. However, as time has gone on and I have been able to step away from the project, I have acknowledged that no MOC is ever really perfect, and in fact, that there are actually many little nitpicks I have with these guys that I would go back and redesign if I got the chance. Therefore, I have decided to rename them something perhaps a little more fitting.
