Lo and behold, after almost literal ages, I have finally made another full drawing that isn't a sketch or doodle! It's a miracle!

This is an idea that I've had for an incredibly long time. This is a design for Samus Aran from the Metroid series... as a Megaman character. Since both franchises star protagonists that run around shooting baddies with arm cannons, plenty of times in side scrolling platformers, I thought that the idea of combining both licenses together to be only fitting. For the Metroid side of things, I mainly referenced how Samus' Varia suit looks in Metroid Prime and Metroid: Samus Returns, hence certain details like the more narrow visor and the green circular lights. I was going for a classic Megaman look, though it looks more like something that you'd see in the Megaman X games, which fits Samus' abilities better, I suppose.

Also, I decided to add the little Met-troid just for fun.

Part of the reason why I call this a full drawing is because, unlike multiple of my other kind of recent uploads as of when I'm typing this, I bothered to draw concept art to see how things would look before I started the finalized piece. I also drew in the "skeleton" in order to get good reference for the pose and the positioning of the body parts, like I usually do. Basically, I went through the steps in the drawing process that I usually take with full, non-sketch/doodle drawings like these.

I'm pretty proud of this to be honest. The line art looks fine, and the overall look & feel of the drawing is what I was going for. I almost want to say that it came out better than I was expecting it to.

Nonetheless, any and all constructive criticism is highly appreciated!

P.S. I was going to do more with the logo, but I honestly wasn't feeling it. If I'm going to design a logo, I'd like to have more space on the paper.
