Description Ha ok, really just another bit of fun. Over the years I've had this fascination with prop weapons and I've always wanted to get more into making them. And this is the result of one of my attempts at hand guns, in this case modifying a cap gun kinda inspired by an illustration I did ages ago which is in my gallery somewhere, it's also a little Vash Stampede isn't it? Of course I have yet to find a 'use' for it other than hanging on my wall or sitting in a box somewhare. I'll either have to break into the film industry or find a healthier hobby '

It all started I suppose, when I was young I was mad, as many a young boy is, about weapons: big & shinny; long & shinny; smaller & loud (or ones that go twang/kathwack); etc and so on. Despite my parents best efforts I eventually got a cap gun and then there were knives and later swords, mostly one's I'd made (like this one) and one or two commercial ones. Now they all just hang on the wall, making me look like a rather sad, fantasy obsessed, roll playing gamer, who doesn't want to leave his rather spotty Mountain Dew fueled youth Incidentally that was never me ;D I was a Siera and Lucas Arts kid (after the Amiga of course)

Oh yeah, a word on the construction: this I made from one of those ridiculously small cap guns, hence tiny revolver part. I added the front weight/barrel extension which I made from plastic panels from the front of an old computer. The grip was also too small so I built one up with modeling clay and wrapped it with leather, building up the support arch thing at the back with leather and super glue.

Haha that ammunition obviously wouldn't fit in the chambers! But I had them lying around and they looked kinda cool. They're 9mm casings I think, just with tinfoil bullets/shells added ;D

I thought this had a kind of post apocalyptic quality to it, anyway hope you like it.

Haha thank you! I'm afraid it's not for sale however. I suppose I might think about making them to sell one day, but I'm a bit busy at present. Thank you for your interest though!

Must play Fallout 3, can't say I've seen the 10mm, but I can imagine. And of course, the Jackal or whatever the other one was called, that would also have been a strong influence
