Some days, Deryn Sharp starts to wonder about her place in the world. Luckily, whenever this happens, all she has to do is take a jaunt topside...any time of day will do, but there's something especially magnificent about sunset on the Leviathan.(See? I told you there would be Real Fanart eventually. And in my own style, for once, no less. Huzzah(?)...!)

I think this is the first art where she actually looks like a 15 year old boy (which is a good thing! Because she's suppose to be a 15 year old boy).

I know right? A lot of fanart makes Deryn look so delicate and feminine that it's hard to believe anyone would fall for her disguise. She's a tall, lanky, wiry young woman who passes perfectly well as a gangly boy, people. She's taller than Alek. C'mon now.
(Oh, but she's the heroine, one might protest, so she has to be a lovely flower! To which I suspect Deryn herself would react by calling one a barking madman and throwing a boot at one's head.)
