Ooh yes, I'd love you to do a story about them. "the sly spider-witch whispering in treasonous plot with the snake warrior." Love love love it. This is my daughter Auri and my dear friend John. I didn't pose them for this shot - they found each other amidst the nine models working with the creatures and I was simply there at the right time to take the picture. They are both extraordinary people, possessed of an inner calmness and intelligence that I see in both of them so clearly here. The skull on John's head and the tarantula on Auri's suggest something much more sinister than what we see on the surface though. And you my dear have tapped into it.

Indeed it was. That's my daughter btw and though I knew she didn't have a phobia about spiders I was surprised when she was the first one to step up and say yes to the tarantula. She loved it.

I love how this is in Horror and Macabre. Is this your first piece in that genre? One day, I will be as brave as Auri.
