Gotta go faster, faster... Whoops, wrong character.

Here, we have Razor the Samoyed, the leader of the Digidogs, running from an attack helicopter using his super-speed. Is he running to safety, or luring enemies away from his teammates? With Razor, who knows? He seems to live for the danger, however. So much so, that his plans oftentimes involve great risk to his life, much to the chagrin of his poor teammates.

I wanted to practice more shading and was satisfied on how well this one turned out. The challenges with this piece were two-fold: draw an attack helicopter and draw a tropical backdrop with a beach, palm trees, and even ferns in the foreground.

I also needed to have a good running pose for Razor, though I realized a little too late that his upper body should be leaning forward at least a bit. On the same token, however, super-speed, in some cases, has allowed the user to even walk at lightning speed, in the case of Metro Man, so it could be implied that Razor could be dashing at a comfortable pace, rather than all-out. This is still up to personal debate.

Overall, I spent quite some time on this one and am quite satisfied with the end result, and I hope you enjoy it as well as I did making it.

For those of you out of the loop, Digidogs is the working title for my upcoming project, which is a Road Rovers spiritual successor in which six students of Howling Bay High School transform into anthropomorphic, canid superheroes, with the aid of a specially made sports watch, to fight crime in the city of Howling Bay and abroad. I plan on this to be a comic/graphic novel series chronicling their misadventures.

I've noticed that people are complimenting and favoriting my work. Just know that even though I may not respond to you, I am grateful for the feedback. This was a lot of fun, and I want to start the next one ASAP, but it's getting late at the time of this post, so goodnight.

Edit: God damn it, I forgot to draw the wristwatch on Razor's left hand, even if it's just a grey band because the watch is obscured by his arm. Oh well, just gotta do better next time.
