Morgaine Le Fey + Morgan Le Fey

Morgaine is the same woman from the Arthurian mythos, half-sister of Arthur, King of England. She resented Arthur for his father's deception that caused her father's death. At the end, she took Arthur to Avalon, but somewhere in the mists her ship arrived in Skartaris, the Savaged Land. She learned magic here, from the wizards that lived there, and eventually became more powerful than any of them. After a time, Morgaine made it back into the real world. She sought revenge for all the wrongs she believed were set upon her, and frequently found herself as an enemy of the heroines Cobweb and the Justice League Avengers. She would more frequently than not end up back in Skartaris after her misdeeds failed to achieve her goals. At one point she attempted to summon Merlin's demonic ally, Etrigan. This ritual was spoiled by Klarion, the Moon Boy, and Morgaine was able to keep her participation a secret. Still, she found herself a frequent enemy of the Demon Dinosaur who seemed to recognize her through his dinosaur-dulled brain.

Morgaine attempted to control all of Skartaris, which makes her an enemy of the Warlord of Skartaris, Ka-Mandi and all his allies. Abby Kale, the Queen of the Bog also is her enemy, and the ManSwamps at her control help the Queen to defeat Morgaine.

Meta-Backstory: Well, as I started down the road of filling Skartaris, the Savaged Land with residents for my next (actually current) project, I needed some more evil wizards to really bring Skartaris to the proceedings and not just dinosaurs for the Savage Land. Both ManSwamp and Demon Dinosaur brought me to Morgan (Morgaine) Le Fey as an enemy (both of the Demon and Jennifer Kale elements to the amalgams). Since Morgan exists in both Marvel and DC, it was just a matter of combining some costume elements. But here is the ultimate big bad sorceress in Skartaris. Just a quick drawing to fill a need....
