Description
Click here to view this tutorialMade this for friends last year, it's a 45 minute video (flv!) of me making some abstract shapes, positioning them, then rendering.
I didn't (and still don't) know how to record audio seperate from video, so you'll notive the majority of the time it sounds like I don't know wtf Im saying.
EDIT: My hosting got canned, please send me a message if you've saved this.

Very nice man, even though I don't use 3dsmx, it helped me a lot in how to model in cinema 4d. Only problem I'm having is applying the material colors to the selections like you're doing. I'll read up on it more, maybe there is a way. Thanks again for making this

Im sure you can color poly's in C4d, I couldn't imagine them not doing it. Good luck though, happy it helped.

Thats some cool stuff man. What I used to do was render different views, then "piece" them together in PS.

Awesome, you think I could learn a bit of c4d modeling through this or are the programs too different?

awesome tutorial with good tips and explanations.
now i have a better idea of how to do nice poly-modelling.
Do you use the "Noise" modifier sometimes?

Nah, it doesn't create nice curves, it gives a rippley affect if anything.
