Funny, I thought I have photographed the same statue, but the one I did was in a different Maryland Cemetery

This is a pretty common pose in cemetery sculpture. I checked and it's very definitely from a shoot I did at Mountain View. I looked at your "Little Decay" statue (if that's the one you're referring to). And I can see when comparing it to a wider-view shot the clothing is pretty different. I probably have a least a dozen different statues of this pose I've shot in different cemeteries. Interestingly, I've shot in Mount Carmel Cemetery twice but never shot the angel you did.

I readily admit being inspired by the wonderful work of when I produce images such as these. They capture a level of beauty and melancholy in such images I can only hope to achieve some day. But I love looking at the detail in these slowly deteriorating works of art.
