For class we have to do journal entries, this started by me finding some scrap wood and wanting to oil paint, so I went in the bathroom and did a quick contour of my face then painted it, I liked it so I decided to do three more of some friends, then I picked four songs, each going with my thoughts and emotions about each personblue panel- self portrait song lyrics "Missed The Boat" - Modest Mouse
red panel- Carson, song lyrics "4th Dimensional Transition" - MGMT
orange panel- Ally, song lyrics "Dream Wanderer's Tune" and "Lemon and Little Lemon" by Deerhoof
green panel- Kat, song lyrics "La Famila" by Mirah
(Kitty I hope you don't get offended by my song choice, but I associated you with Mirah hehe)

I keep thinking about an art class. Taking one anyway. I figure it may get me motivated to draw more than I do now. Which is zilch.
But the only thing stopping me is whenever I have taken classes, they TELL you what to draw. They don't give you ideas like, "Hey draw your feelings lately in so-and-so manner." They're just like, "Okay, I've set up a bunch of junk on the table. Draw it." And then call it still art. You know? If I was an art teacher I'd broaden my students minds, not force them to learn the same crap every year because curriculum says so.
