I've now created a Korrasami Artwork with a Proposal theme........ I regret nothingWell; let it never be said that with this background I didn't at least try. Setting seemed appropriate, my own little homage to 'Turtleduck Date Night'.
I think the debate could go on of which is the right Proposal act that Korra would do. The Betrothal Necklace is a Northern Water Tribe Tradition, but when Varrick - who is Southern Water Tribe, like Korra - proposed to Zhu-Li he did so with a ring, so I thought i'd take a gamble.
I can't say this is really a digital art despite how i've categorized it, but as there is no specific category for a mass list of traditional mediums mixed with a s**t load of photoshop effects, so... well... yeah .
Also, let me reassure people, nothing is wrong with your screens, the Blur effect on Republic City was intentional on my part (trying to create a sense of Distance).

Thank you. I'm glad to hear that. Normally I avoid backgrounds (because I suck at them) but for this work I wanted it to have one and I wanted to show some effort had been put in, so reading your comment has put a smile on my face.

I'm so glad it turned out well since I have a tendancy to run away like a wimp when it comes to backgrounds/scenery. But I swore to myself: Not on this Occasion! It's not without faults, but at least I put some effort into it this time.

Personally I have my doubts, at least in the early stages, considering that as the comics are supposed to start from where Book 4 left off and at that point they had just started dating. I just think it's unlikely either would pop the question so soon until they'd spent enough time together as Girlfriends. Don't get me wrong not saying it couldn't happen; after all Janet Varney and Seychelle Gabriel have acted it out.
But at the end of the day, i'm not the one writing it, so what would I know. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see.
