Description
Somehting I had neglected to upload because i personally kinda hate it. I can't get over the shortcomings and the fact i'm incapable atm to properly stylize in a sensible manner. BUUUUT school seems to like it to my surprise... Oh wel here you go. Models aren't mine, textures are.I'll probably throw on some backlog or a compilation of other things i have made in the last year, but didn't upload because of a myriad of reasons.

Yeah and a bigger version has been circulating from previous years. (They downscaled because they lowered the time available and move it in the curriculum to a year earlier)
Found an old one (by someone ten times better than me)
Honestly the school is quite open to foreign students as far as I know having seperate english classes available and is way cheaper compared to it's big brother in the US thanks to our goverment pumping money into education to make it accesable. Of course as a foreigner living and traveling costs get into the cost to doing this making it quite a bit more expensive again. That and preferably having a strong computer on hand (700 to 2000 euro's depending on the budget, how long the system has to last and whether you'll do movie focused or game focused)
It's not easy though from oktober to halfway november half of the students already give up because of workload and how though the grading is. And another big chunk falls of with the first exam sessions around january. In the second year to leavers are less numerous, but they're still there especially from people trying either programming or art from the first year a second time and still failing badly. You can't do this wihtout a sizeable technical knowledge/skill (programming and basic scripting) nor wihtout an art base(perspective, environments, characters, animals are rarely an element though, but there's only so much you can do in 3 years)

*is being too informative* oh well

Haha you got me wrong. I'm graduating from a really nice canadian school next year, it's just that i liked that project a lot
My school is fine, it's just teacher are more about next gen, movie and animation stuff. None of them knows how to handpainted and don't care at all about it, I just would have like to have a class where everyone had to handpaint the same scene..

yeah I can get that, but I don't get anumation or movie related stuff on the other hand... Don't feel the need to do it either I think I'm best of focussing on environments and the like
I have no feel for animation and I'm generally a too low level in characters to even think about doing something in that direction in the near future.
we can't do everything sadly enough

It does look quite stylistic. it would fit into a very specific kind of game. Very cartoony, I can see why your teachers would like it. It's got a specific feel to it.

I tried asking the teacher... The answer was vague at best... 'it's concistent'
Also I don't think I could follow up on this scene with more in the same style
