Description
These are the first items of clothing I've ever made! We had to get hold of some old clothing and turn it into something completely different. The dress, believe it or not, is made from an ancient sheet (The idea was that the jacket would look sharp-cut, with a boxy shape, but the dress would contrast hugely with its baggy, simple cut and the gathered, slouchy pockets. I wanted a dress that said 'beach' but a jacket that said 'edgy and urban'. It is, needless to say, for Spring/Summer. That jacket would not keep you warm.
My beautiful and kind friend agreed to model for me and I think she has done a fantastic job (the leggings and boots belonged to her already, I didn't make them!).
For my first outfit ever I think it turned out pretty well!

I think this little ensemble goes together really well, even her own shoes and leggings. I do love that jacket!

Oooooh it looks great. And actually the jacket looks really good with those shoes of hers I like the beaded edging around the top of the dress, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the jacket. It's like, kind of military, kind of pirate-esque. Very nice. Good job

That's awesome Fox I guess you are educating within the subject (design)
Anyways, it has some kind of an uniform look in it i think, which is kind of cool
Guess I associate it with some kind of a cheerleader uniform or something, if it had been red, it would have been even more like it, but its not. And that's really cool!
Good job

Am.
Stealing.
I have this... thing for military style jackets. If I saw this one in a store, I'd rip it right off the manikin.
