Description Something totally different this week. Basically, this is a mix and match set ... so how did this come around? Well, I got stalled (writer's cramp block) on the "other" stage set and after taking the dog for a walk I got the crazy idea to do some parts, but not enough parts to justify its own set ...

Not trying to be cheap here; there's a lot of flexibility, creativity and fun to be had with this set. If you don't believe me check out the demo video (link below).

Anyway, what's included:

(1) Hover Platform Stage including motion data for the propeller (but you'll need to make your own up/down data as that can't be generic).
(2) A Control Panel/Busker's Tip Box (I just couldn't resist doing something like this) ... includes operator pose data.
(3) A "Street Faire" Sign ... you can always change the graphic to read something else if you don't like my sense of humor.

What's not included (but available separately):

(1) The speakers
(2) The motion capture display

And yes, we can move CUL up and down and leave Momo and the accessories on the ground ... ^^ ... hat's off to you if you figured out how this is done.

Other models (as shown in picture above)
Gekido Gai ver 2.0 town was made by a Japanese modeler - [link]
Unverified Media Fire link - (Use at your own risk).

CUL (singer/girl in red) and Momo (operator/girl in green) - please find the links yourself if you want them. They are Utau characters and their models should be easy to find. They are listed on ~Lobbie89 's blog - [link]

Correction: (courtesy of ~Kas97 ) - CUL is officially a VOCALOID character

Uh I'm so stupid... how do you get this alltogether as an AVI or JPG file thing?

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.

The set comes with separate components that you will need to assemble together to make into a usable stage format.

If you're clearer with what it is that you want to know, I will be happy to answer you in detail.

Well, that question is now solved, because I read the readme (I'm such an idiot) but now I can't find the Accessory Control thing it says to add it in. If it means the bit at the top saying "accessories" when I hover over that it has a shaded over "edit" button that I can't press.

There are two sets of accessory controls.

[1] The main one at the bottom right of the screen is used to load x.format models and to specify their characteristics in the program.
[2] The accessory edit function under the background sub-menu is used to specific the draw order of the accessory models. This is greyed out if no accessory models have been loaded. (Load any accessory and it will be available).

This panel when you are finally able to open it up allows you to specify the accessory model draw order (and includes a manual override value which you can enter).

In a nutshell, its a list of the accessory models loaded and allows you to specify how the program draws them, with models at the top of the list drawn before models drawn at the bottom.

Models at top of list = models in the background.
Models at the bottom of the list = models in the foreground.

This is actually important as otherwise things will be drawn in the order that they're loaded and usually this will not look right. Briefly, you typically want your list to look as follows:

SKYDOME
CITY SCENERY MODEL
STAGE COMPONENTS
ANYTHING THAT THE VOCALOID IS HOLDING
ANYTHING *TRANSPARENT*

If shadows and glass are transparent/translucent in the wrong way then you use the manual override and enter a number into the box at the lower right of the panel.

Typically, you want this to read "2" for a list that looks like the one shown above.

Hope this helps - and this panels shows how stupid computers really are ^^

I don't have one at the bottom of the screen... Halp!

P.S Sorry for all the questions and stupidity.

Thanks

I'm still stuck on the GLaDOS set. Looks like I need to rebuild the floor. I made it kinda TRON like. It looks really nice but once it's lit up, its incredibly distracting ...

... as they say ... ^^ ... BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD

On the bright side I can recycle that floor for something else ... (evil thought ^^)

You know girl, sometimes you're a great inspiration. Plus you speak volumes with your typing style ... Thanks for the support !!!
