Description
Well it's finally done.GLaDOS happily presents to you her very own APERTURE VOCALOID LABORATORIES STAGE SET.
As you probably guessed the idea comes from the Portal game series by Valve Corporation, but the stage design itself leans more towards Vocaloids than anything in the original game; and incorporates sci-fi motifs from other sources as well.
As with most of my recent stage sets there are animated parts and these come with the motion data needed to work them.
Illustrated set up instructions included.
MME Effect ObjectLuminious highly recommended for use with this set to light up the components.

MMD GLaDOS and Portal Cube model as seen in image above and in the set up instructions were made by MahoAshley . These models are not included in the download.

Giving a model their own personality is a nice thing to do, brings them to "life"

The effects (actually I only used one) are done using Miku Miku Effects (MME). This is a plug-in for MMD and is available from VPVP Wiki website. Installing it is easy, basically just unzip everything into the main MMD folder.
After you have that installed, there will be a new function which allows you to load and manipulate the desired effects. These effects are made by third parties and there is a whole range. Form gun shots, explosions to shaders and lighting effects - the VPVP site as a whole list of them.
ObjectLuminous is one of the major lighting effects and I use it a lot to light up my stage lights. There is a tutorial on how to use it in my gallery [link]
Another useful one, especially if you want to accent skin tones is a shader called AdultShader which you can see used on a lot of the pictures of the MMD girls in my album section.
There's a whole lot more. Like real water effects (which I cannot run as my laptop is too old).
Also check out some of the work ~Lobbie89 does, she's a master at using these effects.

I set up Chrome to translate pages automatically - it's done in-conjunction with Google Translate and all you need is a Google account.
