This was written awhile ago. Nowadays, you would want to use the Outer Parent function:Β

Try looking on VPVP and Bowlroll. VPVP has a good index of vehicles by type.

You should be able to find links to his model's via the VPVwiki in the models/vehicles/motorcycles section

HiSpeedEmperor [2013-03-04 02:33:49 +0000 UTC]

Why is the front wheel sticking too far in? I see some clipping. Maybe you could have rotated it if the actor's hands can't reach the handles.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to HiSpeedEmperor [2013-03-04 04:41:33 +0000 UTC]

It's sticking too far in because I forgot to adjust the position of the front wheel.

RurouniGundam [2012-09-07 02:27:19 +0000 UTC]

Awesome tutorial.

Um, hate to nit pick, but you may want to add some note in the first panel, to load the pose data for the Bike's steering shaft? Just so the arms can avoid the straight look more as you explained.

Sorry, but learned quite a bit from this.

That's in the footnotes in the comments. I usually just do it manually, but good point.

That would be a fairly safe assumption ...

Miku: He's a guy ...

Neru: Yep, he's a guy ...

Gumi: And he spoils us rotten ...

Haku: Yup, typical male chauvinist pig ...

QVxVCTxZero [2012-09-06 19:40:13 +0000 UTC]

This is very helpful. I do ask though, how do you copy and reverse paste a pose?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Trackdancer In reply to QVxVCTxZero [2012-09-06 20:09:50 +0000 UTC]

The instructions are in panel 5. But basically select all the bones you want reversed, click [copy] and then click [revers].
