People keep asking about creating sliders that can change textures and colors or confuse fade in/out sliders with color changing one so I'm putting this up to try and clarify some of the confusion.

If you really need a step-by-step type tutorial on this even after reading this, leave a request in the comments. If there is enough interest, I'll see what I can do. Do be specific if you do post a request as there's many ways of changing colors and I'm not really sure what people are interested in the most. No sense writing one of these type of tutorials if it doesn't specifically address a common scenario, right?
