It's a big improvement over the original in many ways technically, but has kept more or less the same aesthetics, which kind of makes it unique. Other modelers (and companies like SEGA) have gone thru the process of re-inventing Miku, and quite successfully too, but the original design has more or less become iconic. So, its really nice that this modeler, has remained faithful to the original.

French philospher, Jean-Paul Sartre wrote that basically, our reality is only a perception. When applied to Miku (and think about this for a moment), how is she any less real than say for example, Britney Spears?

But that's excatly why i love her, she's a dream with a voice. At first her voice sounded really wierd to me but now i really enjoy listening to vocaloid songs and i think that the "artificial" sound her voice has it's a plus.
Still, i think reality is just a common dream we humans share, and that we're not suppose to know the true meaning of our lives for our own sake.

Yeah, Miku's voice sounded odd at first, but it kind of grows on you after awhile. The more contemporary Vocaloids are becoming increasingly difficult to tell apart from all but the best human singers. BTW, have you heard the Japanese voice that Google Translate uses? That is one heck of a sexy sounding voice coming from a machine.
