I wouldn't think she told anyone else.  Her conversation with her brother makes it seem like she tries to stay in the closet.

For many trans people it's better they don't tell anyone unless they *need* to know or they're in a situation where the other person is likely to find out by accident and they don't want it to be a surprise, like they'd be living together, sharing a shower, etc.  Really her coming out to Marten was a big hint (to me, anyway) that she had feelings for him.

Thanks! I'm pretty forgiving on webcomic art quality - there's a lot of personal style going, and you do see evolution and change over time. Of course, it's very beneficial to take time to improve and learn, but there's definitely a bit of a trade off between quality and a regular schedule, and a lot of work to keep things running.

Yeah that is very true. Can't expect all out masterpieces in a daily webcomic, plus every artist has their distinct style. But quite honestly the weakest part is the art, can't get around that.
Would be amazing if you ever would considering drawing other QC strips ^_^

TLR version:  Marten (the dark-haired guy) is QC's defacto main character.  Claire (the redhead) is an intern at the college library where Marten works.  She's had a not-so secret crush on Marten for a while.

She's also a trans woman.   A fact Marten is aware of. The follow-up to the above-referenced comic addresses this.

MTF who hasn't had the full reassignment surgery.  Don't recall if they've said she hasn't had yet or doesn't want to.
