Interesting take on how even a ersonality like Shockwave's can snap in interesting ways... he kinda reminds me of Blitzwing from TFA...
Also, Laserpipe needs his own limited series.

I am just not feeling this at all. :/ Shockwave is super-logical, endlessly patient, and most of all, sane. It can be argued he's insane in his own way, but... not like this. It feels completely out of character.
And the use of copyrighted material could get you in trouble with dA, whose rules forbid posting screenshots.

I must say that I agree. Shockwave is indeed quite insane enough all ready in his own way that shows itself more in his cold calculation then typical lonely insanity that most of us would fall back on.

I'm gonna make it absolutely clear: This strip is not meant to be taken seriously nor is it supposed to be psychoanalyzed. It's simply a joke and you should just relax.
Also, I did a mosaic using screencaps once before and DA had no problems whatsoever with it.

Don't worry, my current state of agitation has nothing to do with this Mosaic. However, if you wanted it to be taken as a joke, you probably should have made it funny.
Yes, it is indeed sad that dA has so many submissions that violate the guidelines. Just because nobody reported you for it doesn't mean that a screenshot Mosaic isn't allowed. Please refer to FAQ #8: What are violations of the deviantART copyright policy? and FAQ #157: Can I use things created by other people in my submissions? .

The funny part is that it is strongly in continuity: we now know where Shockwave did get the idea for the guardian drones from (I mean the ones seen in "Revenge Of Bruticus").

I'm not sure what to make of this. On the one hand, it's pretty darn funny. On the other, it doesn't really fit in well with the generality of the TF Mosaic; it seems more like a lot of the photo-comics that people do. But on still another hand (I never said I was human), is being different from the usual emosauce of most Mosaics a bad thing? This place could definitely use moar funneh.
I think it's the amateur (Yes, I know that ALL of these are supposed to be amateur, but hear me out!) quality of the piece as a whole that's holding most people back from loving it wholeheartedly. If it were art instead of screencaps, we'd tend to take it more seriously (even though that "huuuuugg" panel is win). Or if the writing were just a bit more consistent in its silliness. (It's supposed to be random, I know, but it's stylistically inconsistent; almost as if it's been translated awkwardly from another language. Nit-picky, I know, but there it is.)
So bottom line, I commend you for bringing some much-needed humor to the TF Mosaic. And maybe if more people try things that break out of the usual mold, we won't be so shocked when it happens. Kudos; go forth and make more.

My two cents:
I agree there's lotsa space for diversity - untapped potential, you could say. And it can't be said enough that all levels of ability should really be accepted, because this is all done for fun. It's a fans' project in the final analysis. And with that in mind, where does it say in the Mosaic guidelines that somebody can't put a Mosaic like this one together?
I was always taught by my art tutors that the 'art' isn't the actual finished article - it's the route you take to get to that finished product.
I'm all for it, personally - variety makes the Mosaics interesting. You literally never know what you're gonna get!

Poor guy. I feel so bad for him. I think after 4 million years alone he deserves to be a little bonkers. But Shockwave is the smartest of the Decepticons, he's tough, he can handle it.

Writing: Out of Character for Shockwave. What could have been done here is showing how the isolation made him "too" sane. This random, bonkers, thought process is just...odd...for the character.

I agree, and there's method in his madness.
More than that, it takes a brilliant writer to put together such humorous concepts and lines (I remember Bart Simpson doing the same with his hand, when he and Milhouse "broke up").
I may also add that RotF had the same weak point: the Fallen waited 10.000 years on his ship for Megatron! Maybe he too went a bit crazy with his laserpipe.

well this one has the fans stirred a bit as there is many hidden comments, unless somethign is wrong with my browser. even though it is screen caps it is still considered art. many great artists use collage and it is still considered art. personally i love this. it is a great parady and as grmlock said it was very naive of the cartoon to make us think he was all alone on cybertron for 4 million years! this is funny but the ending could have been stronger. overall good job!
