Awesome!
At first I thought this was set after 'Decepticon Air', but oviously not.
Also...is Blitzwing making bunny ears in panel 5?

TFA Flame! Hahaha, interesting. Not bad. Beautifully drawn, nice incorporation of TF characters without breaking character, and the writing is pretty good.

It does seem hard to contemplate which was funnier - that line itself, or the fact that Flame was serious about it. Thanks!

The thought that ran through my mind was "Holy crap! He's really asking for it!" Flame's self-preservation circuit needed replacement. lol

He should've gone with Springer's suggestion instead. But then we wouldn't have Blitzy to keep us entertained.

that is awesome.
I love how it's not "Arhnold" who's attacking Flame, it's "crazy-face", basically Flame's hoist by his own petard, he created both "crazy-face" and "Klink" and it's one of those that gets him!

Random Blitzwing singing Queen = awesome. Cool idea and you got the TFA style just right.

Thanks! Some people have been asking me: "How did he learn to sing Queen songs?" I say: "Same way he learned to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider."

I belive this is a typical case "it works because it's awesome and cool".
Or perhaps G1 Jazz somehow ended up in the TFA universe and Random heard him playing Queen? Or something like that.

Minttu can do no wrong, indeed, and I appreciate what you think of me! I've written one other Mosaic that was moderately well received; it's called 'Blackup' and you can find it somewhere in the TF Mosaic archives.

Great art and nice story but.....um how does the security card get within reach of Blitzwing? Does Flame deliberately drop it? If he does, then why does it so drastically jar with the comments he's making? Does Minerva drop it thinking he's better off free? Does it accidentally drop? Has Springer sneaked in to drop the card just for the chance to use excessive violence when Blitzwing is recaptured?

Ain't it beautiful when the reader can make up their own mind? Personally, though, I like to think Minerva had something to do with it. Thanks!

About time we got a TF parallel to Grant Morrison's Arkham Asylum!
Really nice script here. Very tight! And the art is awesome; Animated Springer looks PISSED...

You got me there. This strip is, indeed, a homage to Arkham Asylum - one of my favorite comic books ever.
Thanks for the compliments! As Springer himself mentioned, Blitzy's capture was quite the task. Although I imagine even he might have disapproved of what Flame did.

Hey, nothing wrong with homages. It just stuck out in my mind because I'm cast in an audioplay adaption of that story.
And I'm sure he would. Personally, I think if TFA had lasted a couple of years, it would have been similar to the original series, becoming more outer-space focused after a big defining event.

Nachtsider In reply to TomSwiftie [2010-05-05 01:52:37 +0000 UTC]
Oh, awesome! What role are you playing?
The series' change in focus from Earth to space was definitely showing during the third season. How I wish TFA got that couple years' more lifespan you speak of.

TomSwiftie In reply to Nachtsider [2010-05-05 03:20:59 +0000 UTC]
Me too. I miss that show so much.
I'm playing 2 roles actually, Dr. Cavendish and Professor Milo. I was just Milo at first but I was tapped to fill in when the original guy backed out.
It should be up on YouTube soon (as soon as I find the time to redo some of my lines! )

Sure. I'll also be posting the link in a journal entry once it goes up, so keep clickin' on my page until it shows up.
Also, if you wanna hear some other voices I've done, check this out: [link]
It's the first episode of a crime series where I play 2 characters. It's about 25 minutes, but you can download it and put it on the ol' iPod!
Let me know what you think!
