Description This is something that every women has experienced on some level. We have all wanted our breasts to grow in faster then they are and then seemingly over night, they just show up. And it is glorious. I finally got mine after more then a year on hormones. I thought it apropos to make a comic based of it. Enjoy and stay proud.

One thing I know for certain is that when I developed, I developed early, and quickly...

So much so, that when I started doing my initial athletics training, my beginner's training gear had to be custom made since normally it is a loaned set and most of the others have much smaller busts or are flat chested (by comparison mine were equivalent of someone in their late adolescence at 40D), which meant that I'd be keeping it and would also have to maintain it myself.

Just one minor inconvenience really.

Oh? The material? Well, it was a choice between iron chain mail and leather, opting for the latter and spending a lot less (and tying into what I would expand into a lot easier since leather is far quieter than chain mail). My leather training/combat gear covers the bare minimum, though I wear latex and lace underneath. If I have to go somewhere that people expect a certain type of dress code (not something I commonly do), or if the weather is going to be less than favorable, I wear a full-coverage mantle over my gear.

I started with just simple athletics; I branched out to advanced athletics, parkour, stealth and in combat, the bow and the sword.

Wait I'm confused. I get that you developed early and that meant you had to get special gear for your training, but how did my comic make you think of sports and combat training? I totally think its awesome. I try to practice my baton skill for self defense but haven't gotten a change to anything with my swords in a few years.

The comic (and commentary) reminded me of how quickly I developed (not everyone likes that but it never bothered me), and the domino effect that followed it. Most tend to have their breasts grow out to full size in a matter of years; mine was the equivalent of half a year. Yeah.

I don't train for sport; I train for combat pretty much, though it is mainly for me to better myself in skill, even if most people are not going to be competitive in that regard. I chose a combination of techniques that would better suit a thief or ninja than it would a femme artist...

I dunno; I love propelling myself from wall to wall, using inertia to give gravity the middle finger, the wind in my hair, I guess one could say the adrenaline is the best part and it probably is but I can't answer that! lol

Anyway, if ya get the chance, you should get familiar with your swords again; you'll likely need the skill (almost certainly will from what I;ve seen lately) in the nearer future...

Oh, and congrats. Forgot to say this before (2AM SYNDROME!)

Thank you and I am trying to find time to pick them back up.

My biggest problem is I don't have anyone to practice with.

So I end up doing Kata's and get little to no practical experience.

I did 5 years in the Navy and I would love to get back into fighting

for the same reason you think I should get back into my swords.

Frankly if I'm going to go with a more practical weapon, I need to start

practicing my knife skills again.

sweetladyamy In reply to TransitioningLife [2019-07-09 23:30:15 +0000 UTC]

I agree with that; I honestly would consider having a dagger as a parrying option for your off-hand, though that's another set of techniques to learn (I've trained in these techniques myself and there's a lot of depth to the art of the parry.

I practice alone for my training for the most part, my only opponents being gravity and my own limitations.

Of course, when I do accuracy training for sword strikes, I have a multitude of practice dummies, some that can move (set on springs and other such things), the rest either stationary or hung from something via rope or chains or what-have-ya.

I actually have not trained for long bouts of close-range combat, but even then I can hold my own in a combat-based duel.

My sword? End to end, twenty-five inches. The blade is nineteen inches of curved, folded steel etched with silver, and the handle is made of Larch Wood. The hilt is just bronze. It falls under the katana category.

What about yours?

Depends. I have training with a Marine k-bar knife, Katana swords, and hand and a half swords

either one handed, two handed or with a shield.I also know a little eskrima baton combat

both one or two handed. I like to focus in the more practical styles. So were the sword play

will always be in my bones, I try to keep the knife and baton skills "sharp". LOL.

Sadly I live in a tiny apartment complex and so the only place with enough space to practice

my sword play is in the parking lot and sometime that's hard to get the energy to go out there

and allow myself to get harassed for any number of reasons.

Thank being said I recently got Beat Saber for my VR and it is great for cardio and reflex

training. Getting to the highest difficulty setting for the song and then add the speed increase

modifier and the one that makes the targets disappear as they move towards you is great for training

you speed, reflexes, tracking and situational awareness.

Beat Saber is definitely a game I wanna have a go at, at some point. (don't have a VR device)

Yeah, I know the feeling of living in a place where people can be idiots without due consequences; I live in such a place now.

You have a diverse range of techniques. I find that even more interesting, especially since you named a few I'm not familiar with.

Military training and personal interests. Which ones have you not heard of?

sweetladyamy In reply to TransitioningLife [2019-07-12 01:15:49 +0000 UTC]

Well, I don't know what a k-bar knife is, and I've never heard of Eskrima baton combat, to name a couple...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TransitioningLife In reply to sweetladyamy [2019-07-12 01:25:23 +0000 UTC]

So a K-bar is a type of military knife that the Marines use. It generally has a 7 inch single edge blade, not serrated. And if you have ever seen the Arrow TV show on the CW than the baton fighting he does for his training is known as Eskrima.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

sweetladyamy In reply to TransitioningLife [2019-07-13 04:17:24 +0000 UTC]

Oh, so it's akin to a utility-type knife, in that it can do a lot of things.

I've heard of the series, and I might of seen one or two episodes, but not enough to of caught on to anything going on in it.

TransitioningLife In reply to sweetladyamy [2019-07-15 16:31:25 +0000 UTC]

If you're curious the first half of this is a clip form the show

that features single baton Eskrima training. You can also do

double and that's what I use for training to duel weild short

swords. The cool thing about it is that it can also be used

with knifes if you know how to transfer the techniques.

I've employed Eskrima techniques in my parrying skills and didn't even realize it, apparently.

Of course, my main combat training involves less close-quarters combat than it does evasive measures, but even still, I could hold my own against that individual. That little training squat/bout looked like fun.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TransitioningLife In reply to sweetladyamy [2019-07-16 13:42:30 +0000 UTC]

Most of my knife and baton training came from the military

and sense I was in the Navy, it was training for fighting on

boats. There is little to no evasion room and a ship and so

it mostly focused on stopping the first blow and then doing

as much damage as possible before they get a chance to

do anything else.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

sweetladyamy In reply to TransitioningLife [2019-07-17 00:46:30 +0000 UTC]

Parrying close-quarters attacks is something I am good at, but the point of a parry is to strike after the parry leaves them vulnerable, which is easier said than done, and my training focuses on avoiding close-quarters combat/conflict as much as possible.

So, on a ship, I'd do my best to hide in shadows and strike from behind/blind if escape/evasion isn't possible.

(blind == where they cannot see me even if I'm not necessarily behind them)

TransitioningLife In reply to sweetladyamy [2019-07-17 17:30:44 +0000 UTC]

Sounds a lot like some of the training I got. When it came

to stopping the first attack/parrying we were taught to knock

their offensive hand into a wall so that they'll drop whatever

weapon their holding. Or break it so that they can't use the

arm at all for the rest of the fight.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

sweetladyamy In reply to TransitioningLife [2019-07-18 05:03:37 +0000 UTC]

Yes, that works in a situation where one has that terraneous advantage.

In a situation where one would be less surrounded by walls/defensible terrain, it is better to have a different method of subduing, like using a hip dagger to slice deep into the primary arm to make using said arm painful and distracting, though that is a Gambler's Tactic that is not foolproof since pain tolerance is a factor; some could handle the pain and then that could lead to a serious disadvantage.

Part of my training involves going after areas where pain tolerance is going to be far less due to the nerve sensitivity of said areas, and there are several most aren't even aware of. However, my training considers this a last-ditch-effort of sorts, one where at the end of the conflict, the one afflicted by the efforts of my training are left less-than-able to walk away, if at all.

Then I rush back to the shadows...
We have some similarities in techniques, but end goals and disciplines differ like an apple and a car tire (that's fine though).

Ultimately, I wouldn't wander into an open field where the shadows favor only themselves. If my foe decided to run off into the open, I'd track their movements and go around the open areas and wait for them to let their guard down...

From the sounds of it, we have two very different forms of fighting.

It sounds like you are more of a stealth fighter, a rouge. Were as I

am more of a brawler or barbarian with my fighting style. Victory

through overwhelming strength, aggression and speed. Even after

the loss of 30lb of muscle because of my HRT, I am still a stronger

than average person. Couple that with being 6' 1" I have the reach

advantage over most. I've found myself moving away from two handed

weapons to dual wielding or a weapon with a shield. But if you are quick

and stay on the heals of whomever you're fighting then you can keep

them from getting within your reach, which is a real problem for me being

as tall as I am.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

sweetladyamy In reply to TransitioningLife [2019-07-19 23:21:56 +0000 UTC]

A rogue, yes. Self-trained and disciplined as well. I chose this path mainly because I didn't want to emulate any specific person or discipline, I wanted to make it my own, as I do with femininity, I make it my own.

I can use a shield, but it's added weight to me and often feels unnatural. I'd rather parry with my off-hand.

TransitioningLife In reply to sweetladyamy [2019-07-20 20:39:52 +0000 UTC]

I feel the same way. I have sadly had to defend my

self in the past in actual fights. In one I have even

had a knife pulled on me. Luckily he was drunk and I

was able to break his arm before he could stab me.

But the fights I have had have shown me that I like

to use my height and reach. I would love to be a rouge

but I'm just to big. So like being a women, I will fight in

the way I chose that best suits me.

I just want to say thank you for this conversation. None of

my friends or family are into combat or training like I am and

so it's been nice to have someone to talk to how IS into the

Congrats on getting your own, can't wait till I get my own (though I have a few things to get through before I can start HRT, plus I am looking forward to the somewhat de-sexualization of other people's breast, that I've heard can happen with HRt).

TransitioningLife In reply to flex35 [2019-07-01 20:37:53 +0000 UTC]

A little tip. When you start HRT there is a chance that your body may change the estrogen you are taking into Testosterone. This happened to me for my first 6 months on hormones. So I am 6 months behind the curve. I destroyed me when I learned this happened. Be ready and careful. It can be a hard start. That said, good luck to you and I hope you can sort things out and get started (assuming that's what you want.)

Thank you for the advice, I'll try to keep that in mind (among other things to keep in mind, like getting laser hair removal for my face before starting on HRT, since I have heard it is better to get that done, before starting HRT).
