I first watched Babylon 5 way back in high school when my then girlfriend turned me onto it. I recently decided to revisit the series and I was quickly reminded how much I liked it. (Most of it, anyway. The pilot is just painful to watch and I'm currently slogging through season 5 which had ... issues.) Naturally, I had to do a little bit of fan art.This is also the first in what I have started calling my "homework assignment". The always fabulous Comfort Love recently challenged me to try and create a new finished piece of art about every two weeks or so. (One week to draw, one week to color.) So fingers crossed that this is just the beginning.

I'm not 100% clear on the situation, but I thought I read somewhere that, according to some of the expanded universe material, he actually does live. Something about being frozen, waking up in the future, cloning Ivanova. I don't know. But, yeah, he was awesome and sorely missed after his character left the show.

Looks good. You have to keep in mind, that at the end of season 4, they didn't know if there would be a season 5- They even filmed the final episode at that point- only to hold it back when TNT stepped in and paid for the fifth season- Then they had to scramble to get things back up and running again.
Actually, they way the final episode plays out, you have to watch all the other B5 programs first, then come back to it.

Oh, yeah, I've heard the whole big story. It's too bad, too, because it also forced them to rush through some things in season 4 as well, like the conclusion of the Shadow War. But season 5 isn't all bad. It's just that you can tell it wasn't quite as planned out as the rest of the series.
