Description Gigantoraptor erlianensis
Named by Xu Xing and colleagues, 2007
Diet: Uncertain, possibly omnivore (It'll mostly feed on plants and small animals, including small dinosaurs)
Type: Maniraptorian oviraptorosaur (Caenagnathid) theropod dinosaur
Size: 26 feet (8 meters) long and 1.3 tons
Region: Asia (Mongolia)
Age: Late Cretaceous (86 to 84 million BC; Santonian)
Enemies: Carnivorous theropods such as the tyrannosaur, Alectrosaurus
Episode: Walking with Dinosaurs: Inside Their World (vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/w… )
Info: Discovered by Xu Xing in 2005 in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia while accompanied by a team of Japanese documentary filmmakers, this largest member of the oviraptorosaur family looked like a giant flightless bird that stood the height of a giraffe, the length of a city bus, and sport 8-inch (20-centimeter) slashing claws. The 10-foot (3-meter) wide rings of 21-inch (53-centimeter) fossilized eggs found in Mongolia are now thought to be those of Gigantoraptor.

Note: Based on fthmb.tqn.com/Q3b2ouwrbfp2H2a3… as well as parts of 's Anzu work due to the fact that its a caenagnathid.

Awesome! Love the wattle thing you did. One on one side and not on the other. I can't remember it appearing in the documentary but I think it was in the giant claw episode? Or was that therizinosaurus? Also, how do you do those name tag things in the description? Also, please do a tyrannosaurus or a dimetrodon next.
