Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love Goth culture (as you should probably know by now!) and I truly believe that Goths are some of the nicest people out there.But it isn't a bad thing to laugh at one's self once in a while
I've never been one to tell people that I don't believe in labels. The fact is, if you dress goth, people are going to call you goth. And you should be proud of it! Being acknowledged as a goth is nothing but a good thing, I believe.
Anyway, this (and other comics) were the "Easter Egg" that was on BlackWaterFall.com, so some sharp-eyed deviants have already seen it

Yeah I always thought the same thing about labels but then people are all like "Only a poser would label themselves" and then I'm like wtf? People who bitch about labels are trying too hard I think. Like "I'm so cool, don't label me! I'm unique!" and it's like shut up! You're goth! Get over it! That's how it is and saying that you don't like labels isn't gonna change anything D:< What's the big deal? And Punks do the same shit (well the ones I know do)

The funny thing is, mostof these "DON"T LABEL ME" people want to be labelled to begin with, it's just more hardcore to deny being hardcore. It kindof angers me a bit.
I think the best thing to do is just accept that we're all corporate whores at the end of the day

I'm doing a project at my school for a course caled Media Studies about the same sort of thing... I'm going to disect the most popular youth subcultures and how each one of them is fuelled by marketing (even dem punks.) Subcultures are awesome. Guess that's why I got hooked on your Goth Types XD

Sounds like a great study - and I totally agree, goth is just as dependant on the industry that markets to them as the industry is dependant on goths...

well goth never said it wasn't comsumtion-driven... punk says it is and it tries to be, but companies have found ways to popularise it so that it does become a way for them to make money.
I guess that's why goth is so great... there are reall no obligations to it (although there's a lot of 'gother than thou,' which sucks to say the least...)

I don't actually care if people label me as Goth (they usually label me as "Emo," but then again, they think anyone who wears black is Emo).
But then again, it feels nice to know I'm not completely invisible.

I hate those ignorants. Like one day in class I was dressing in black with heavy make up and this guy comes and says: "are you EMO?" (EMO WTF??? I TOUGH I LOOK GOTH XDDD )I almost crack in the guys face but I got like "Do you EVEN know what emo is? Don't ever call me a label before not knowing about it" Then he goes like "I am not emo becuase I cut myself" I wanted to reply him but I decided to just walk away. True is, his neither emo but much of a "Angsty Toad".
Anyways, I want to a an emotional goth punkish(Or pungotmo....my own creation) and I am not afraid what people thinks about me.

0.o I actually did that to a bystander. the reaction was a bit different but it ended up with that person walking away slowly. ^v^ I tend to have that effect on people. so far my favorite was the I found you case. long story short i like freaking people out. I'm a #8 on the Goth types by the way if that helps describe what kind of person I am. Great work as always. sorry for my rambling-_- I tend to do that.
