If it was up to me, this should have lasted for days so I could just break out a chair, sit down and watch this, it was absolutely amazing.

This capture is stunning - the composition is instantly striking, the colors are intense yet pastel-like, and everything just comes together beautifully in this image.
The colors are a lovely blend of warm and cool, which I don't often see in one image. I especially love the jagged shapes, but smooth edges of the mountains, and the swirling billows of the clouds. The foreground is beautifully dark and in focus, which contrasts nicely with the more faded mountains in the background.
It's hard to make a sunrise/set landscape photo stand out from the crowd, and even harder to make it seem like an original concept, but this photo manages to do both quite well!
