FR currency commission forOK PEOPLE PLEASE BARE ME WITH BACKGROUNDS
I needed to paint/draw something with eyeburning warm colours and tadaa. I personally love how the sky and clouds turned out but the mountains/hills/idk what exactly.... ;; I'm out
I'll fix them after I've practiced little more for sure... *wheeps*
Oh, and sorry for the little inactivity. I've been busy with... stuff
Mostly with SoI's new page sketches tho.Anyways, hope you like it and thank you for commissioning me!

The background may not be where you want it to be, but I think its simplicity draws more attention to the dragon, the centre of this work of art, thusfore expressing the tittle withing the drawing.

And like Vvlad said, the mountains in the front lack some details, while the one in the back have more. It usually should be the other way around, since you see more up close than far away heh

Ehhhmmmmyes, unofficial WIP, I'll fix this shet next week. For some reason they didn't turn out at all and then I got all fed up and threw this on dA out of pure dissapointment and anger
I started to work with mountains on the back first, maybe that's why they're little more detailed?

Nicely done, the colors are very nice and you did quite well on the clouds. Though the front set of mountains on the left lack the detail of the rest, which makes them stand out. And one other thing, the far mountains should fade more into the color of the sky.
Very distant horizons tend to fade in color of the atmospheric haze and become more obscure with distance, because you're looking through more atomosphere to see them. (the haze is often a transparent color of the sky/fog, in this case orange) So any object viewed from far enough away will lose its original color and detail finally becoming a dim an outline of themselves. And often at extreme distances, such as those viewed from flight, the sky seems to blend into the land often leaving the horizon obscured entirely. www.presidiacreative.com/wp-co…

First, it's unofficially a WIP I got so fed up of the hills that in anger I threw it to dA and decided to keep working on them next week...
I dunno why they turned out so great on the back and got all messed up and ugly in front ;; Bad art day.
I'll work on the perspectives/atmosphere then, thanks for the suggestions

Yeah I know the feeling, I've been having a frustrating time with the piece I've been working on lately as I push further into soft cell, a media that has been giving me much trouble in learning, it's rules are drastically different from high detail works that I've been at for years.
So do whatever it takes to get past the tough stuff. But over all you're really are doing well.
