Whenever I watch Bon Bon work the circular pressure lock (reminiscent of the meerschaum pipe lock from National Treasure), and she pops it - my mind says

That's indeed unintentional, I can't read Braille as of yet.
Thinking of which, having a Braille-based screen that changes it's surface so blind people can dynamically read on it doesn't sound like a farfetched idea. And it's possibly quicker to develop than robotic/replacement eyes.
This lock was more inspired by the lock-picking puzzles in Bethesda games. xD

that puzzle reminded me of a book by Mercedes Lackey...someone had a hidden drawer in his desk that could only be accessed by pressing several hidden buttons in the right order...and if anyone pressed them in the wrong order...poison needle in the finger!
oh, and what did he have in there? a copy of the Imperial Seal, which could be used to forge the Emperor's signature, a death-penalty crime!

I just hate it when you find a good comic to read, you get into it and the next thing you know it's still unfinished.....but that means character development and plot is taking it's time, having us feel for the characters and adore the plot.
