okay, but the idea that certain ponies are cursed to being the wrong species is a really dark topic. one I thoroughly enjoy, and am tempted to write about. I got chills when i read the 6th panel. Imagine a unicorn trying to grow flowers with magic, only to have every single one die or an earthpony who stares at the clouds, hoof stretched out to the air, longing to feel more than just the faint winds that blow by her hoof?

Agreed, though this case is a bit different from that. Bonnie suffers from a lasting childhood trauma due to the circumstances she grew up in, it's unlikely that she'd be this obsessed with it if she had a different family with a different situation.
