Edit 2: If you are using 7x, instead of inputting the locations manually, just base the locations of the transforms on the screenshots. Something about the way the program recognizes locations changed with this new one.

Oh, and I don't know who hit print request, but I won't make this image available for it. I'll make the actual fractal which is titled Storm (same image) available for it instead. Thank you for the interest
The download includes a 75 page tutorial on how to make four different fractals. Its really detailed and I've spent the past two weeks writing it.
Its mostly pictures though so don't worry about a long reading.
I really hope you guys enjoy this, I've never put this much work into anything.
The download also includes a pack of 100 gradients, and a .flame file of the contents of this tutorial.
For quick navigation of the tutorial I have included a contents page, simply click on the listing of the area you wish to view. The .pdf will automatically take you to the area.

(BTW, if you're using the latest version of Apophysis, the locations might be a bit off due to some changes in the program. Eye the locations of the transforms via the transforms if that's the case).

If you're using Apophysis 7x, the locations will not work correctly. (They've changed something in the program.) If you eyeball it via the screenshots of the transform editor you should be just fine though

Thank you, best of luck with the tutorial. If you're using Apophysis 7x, be careful. I wrote down the location coordinates and they don't work with Apophysis 7x. Instead base where you move the triangles from the screenshots and it should work a lot better.

hey... i loved your tut, and truly appreciate people like you helping out beginners (like me)
but i just cant stand ripoffs from tutorials...

I'm seriously used to it, a few months back someone got a DD for a piece too close for my liking to my original work. So this seems small to that.
I'm just happy that the vast majority of people are honest and put their own spin on their creations from the tutorial

I may be late to the party, but beautiful tutorial, the image is awesome. I can't seem to get it to work though, I ended up with a weird flatish image until I loaded the flame file and saw that the parameters in it were different than the ones in the tutorial. Has anyone else tried this with 7x? It's probably something with that. Still, very awesome.

I think the problems are arising because 7x does locations slightly differently I think. I just tested it out, the locations I had beforehand do not work with 7x. Go by the positions of the triangles in the pictures, and it works out perfectly.
