Description
In my WIP monochrome image, I mentioned that there were colour issues preventing me from combining the images to make a colour version. However, I managed to dig up the raw files for the colour data, which was shot as a much lower resolution. However, since I used the monochrome HA channel as luminance, this was not an issue. So here it is - the "Eye of God" in all its glory. With a total of 11 hours of exposure, of which 8 hours form the luminance, I present my latest view of this nebula. With additional data acquired in the past couple couple of weeks, I managed to pull out even fainter detail in the periphery. The southwest arc extending at the bottom left can now be seen very distinctly, which is something I am rather pleased with.
