Story

Ghost crinkled his nose. Trotting around the arena as Damien guided him through. The lather foaming up on Ghost's shoulders and rear end. You would imagine it being there, it would seem as if they chafing.
Today was such a simple exercise but inside Ghost wasn't taking it very well. He woke up on the wrong side of the stall this morning, and was being stubborn today. But the more Damien pushed him the more it irritated him. He just wasn't having it.
"What has gotten into you?"
Damien worded out as they stopped. Ghost just had his ears pinned back. A bit uneasy.
"You're being so sour today. I don't understand it."
Damien rolled his eyes and looked down at the exhausted stallion. They needed a lot of work done, and they had just started less than an hour ago. Ghost just wanted to be lazy and be turned out so he can eat...and be fat..but no. Damien just kept egging him on today. Why couldn't he just take the hint.
Damien nudged him in the side with his spur and sent Ghost into a trot. Ghost grunted and did as told, making his way around the arena. His tail swished and his hooves gracefully touched the dirt. He switched into his half pass, making his way across the ring. Damien heeled him one more time to make his way across again. But enough was enough for him today. Ghost squealed and reared up, then kicked out. Damien landed back on the saddle with a thud as he grunted. Ghost then went to buck up again, flinging Damien off the back of him. Damien gripped the reins tightly and pulled hard, his footing out of the stirrup now. Ghost again grunted and squealed as he pitched his hissy fit.
"Oh SHIT"
Damien shouted as he slid on backwards off of Ghost. He hit the ground with a thud on his back after trying to catch himself. But it was unsuccessful on his end. He choked up trying to catch his breath. Gasping a his through his teeth grabbing his back.
Meanwhile Ghost was on the other end of him staring at him. As if it were funny to him. Of course.
"You're such an ass wipe Ghost!" Damien choked out and rolled over onto his stomach. He groaned again and slowly pushed himself up from the sand. Wiping his gloves off onto his pants and slowly walked over to grab Ghost.
“Are you done pitching a fit?” he asked gripping the reins then the saddle. He placed his footing in the stirrup and threw himself up, rubbing his back once settled again. Damien sighed and nudged Ghost telling him to move forward. With grace..Ghost moved on, walking to the end of the arena. He just wanted training to be done and over with today..
Ghost was then stopped at the end and Damien looked in the mirrors on the wall beside him. He shook his head seeing how filthy his shirt was.
“Let’s get this right...for the third time yea?” he said glaring at Ghost, who nodded his head. His bottom lip wiggling with his answer.
“Alright then..”

For the rest of their time inside the arena and Ghost and Damien finally got their sync going good together. It was such a huge relief off of Damien, for his back was in pain and he didn’t wanna be put on his anymore than what he had done already. But Ghost was doing better now that he had made his point to him. It made the rest of the day run smoothly.
