Description
A local park at night. The sky is colorful because of light pollution - not editing. This is a combination of 56 exposures that add up to about 20 minutes worth of exposure- hence the stars streaking across the sky.
You can watch the timelapse in the video section of my website!
56 images at 11mm, 20s, f/4, ISO800

Hah, I thought you were joking (maybe you were?) but I checked one of the shorter exposures from that night and saw that Orion is indeed here.
If you look at the left-most tree, and then go up halfway, you'll see the it. The belt is most noticeable.
Thanks for pointing that out!

ooOOooo, very beautiful and interesting. I've always wanted to do a shot like this, but my camera has a max shutter of 60 seconds. How do you compile them into one image?

I used a free program called Startrails . You give it a series of images, and it'll figure out the difference between each of the images, and then add the difference to the first.
Thanks.

The sky is colorful due to pollution and holes in the ozone layer, not because of natural effects.
