Description
I took this on my '07 trip to Connecticut to visit family. I got this shot when it was nice and cool after a long day at this beach in Milford. It's less than 5 minutes walking distance from my Grandpa's house.-------
HDR w/ 9 exposures from RAW.
Check out my other art stuff on my website!

Great shot! It looked somewhat impossible until I read you did an HDR from a raw file XD

The scenery is absolutely lovely. Its just a shame she hadn't thrown the frisbee when you took the picture.

the detail is so great!
I wish you could have come up to Canada with me, there were some great scenes there. (and all i had was a crappy disposable camera...)

One of my favorite photographers lives in northern Canada and produces some amazing works. I plan to go there some day at least.

That place was really something to see. I was depressed that it only lasted about 10 minutes before it was dark outside. I realized it was hard to photography the sun setting in the west when I'm on the east coast.

It hard to believe such a beautiful place actually exists. It's like... something you only see in romance movies (err, not that I watch them).

it IS! I'm back now, but unfortunately I've been informed I'm leaving for Ohio on THURSDAY. RGH, well I'm coming back next sunday so I'll have a week of duty-free vacation to before the unspeakable horror begins.
Update me on project full metal camera jacket.

well, tripod or not, it won't made much difference. If it's not too late, I might add that it's preferable for it to be a little too long rather than too short. In the future I might get a telescoping lens which would be longer than what I have now, so I don't know, just make sure it's not too cramped. we can always change it later.

ok, i'll add to the length. It was 4 tall by 5 wide buy 6 long? (the one we made already)

Currently it is 5 tall, 6 wide, 7 long. If 2-3 inches were added to the length, it would probably be plenty if I ever get a longer lens. After all, I can't picture myself springing for the $2000 lenses that are a foot long. And if a half inch was added to the width, it'd make it much easier to adjust the lens. So preferable the new design would be 5 tall, 6.5 wide, 9 long.

understood, though i may do 7 wide just for simplicity, and i'm going to count on no tripod, cause if i make it out of metal, then your pod can't support it. I might still use wood though...I haven't decided.
