Description HELM
Literally it means the wheel by which vessel or ship can change its course. I tried to make something similiar to that in Rainmeter so as to make things look a little Tech-ie. It contains -

Timex : An analog clock made as a sequel to 2nd Gig.

Meters : CPU, RAM, SWAP, Upload, Download and Total Hard
Drive usage ratio to total space(supports upto 8 partitions).

Start Button : On hovering over the middle part of the config the meters disappear and a start button shows up.

CREDITS
Without them this was unthinkable -

Burnwell88 for TECH-A
burnwell88.deviantart.com/art/…

Z-Design for his Tech Brush Set v6
z-design.deviantart.com/art/Z-…

SC10 for 2nd Gig
sc10.deviantart.com/art/2nd-Gi…

And the guyz at rainmeter.net/forum who have helped
immensely.

YOUR TASK
1. First download it(Its a request, dont take it otherwise).
3. Open the "variables.inc" file to customize Drive letters, colors, etc.
2. If you feel its good then comment and fav it. Otherwise, please tell me what went wrong or why you didnt like it.

Update 0.2 : 6-26-2014 23:02 hrs. Issues fixed-
1. Partitioned the whole Config in 4 parts so that users can choose from configs to turn on. Users facing huge CPU usage due to Helm can now enjoy the Config but by sacrificing some features(Switch off Rotating circles)

Additional features-
1. Added hourly "Speak Time". It notifies you of the timeon hourly basis. Can be turned ON/OFF.
2. Change colors to your need.(Full functionality is still unavailable, but will be pretty soon.)

I'm just getting into Rainmeter and yours is one of the first I've downloaded.  Great job!
BTW, I modified it for myself so that the inner rotor reacts to network traffic.  Makes it seem like it's actually "doing something".
If you want to check it out, it's part of a skin I just posted.

I think you got it wrong somewhere. That "glow" is in the wallpaper and not in the skin.

Does anyone know a workaround for the 10ms update rate on this skin?  It puts a 25% drain on an i3 CPU.  I've been trying to figure out a way to get the rotors to spin at a high refresh without updating the entire skin 100 times a second.

I'm looking into it. I divide the thing in parts so that one can deactivate those parts which are polling high CPU usage. Thanx for pointing that out. Be sure to check it out within a week as I update it.

Absolutely love it. Only thing the bothers me (Minor) is it makes my CPU usage jump ~10%. That's on an i7. Other than that, it's incredible. Best animated clock I've come by so far :3

Rainmeter does use some resources, moreover I'm not that big kinda programmer in this arena. May be a more efficient code will not make your CPU usage jump that far. Newayz I'm happy that you liked it.

Sorry for your problem. But the problem you stated has never been ocuurred to any one else. I recommend uninstalling Rainmeter, downloading the latest stable version of Rainmeter and doing a fresh install.

Do let me know if that solves your problem.

Oh, wow. DeviantArt needs an official skin tester, someone who's knowledgeable in rainmeter who can determine compatible OS's and/or bugs and the appropriate fixes. One can dream.
