Description
Here we have the Sphinx of Oedipus fame. The Sphinx had set up shop near the ancient city of Thebes where she riddled all who came by and killed any who couldn't answer the riddle. Eventually Oedipus was able to answer riddle and the grateful Thebans proclaimed him King. And then he went on to accidentally marry his mother after unwitting killing his own father. He blinds himself when he realizes this. Slightly nicer fate than some of his other relatives.
