I once frequented and administrated a Jailbreak server mod on TF2 known as the House of Pain, the first bunch of folks to bring over the CS:S inspired gameplay. There's a couple of servers out there that run TF2 Jailbreak other than the one I go on. If you don't know how it's played, BLUs are basically prison guards who can tell you to do stuff, and REDs are prisoners who can choose to do that stuff. If a RED decides they don't want to do that stuff, they can choose to rebel, and this either ends in them dying for that or a BLU dying for that.Often if you obey, you get to do some really sweet mini-games or hilarious scenarios. Or mini-games you absolutely loathe but you're gonna do it anyway because that's all part of the game. If you manage to make it all the way to the end as the only surviving prisoner, you get something called Last Request in which you can make the CT's do whatever you want or pick what you want you or everyone to do for next round. It's not TF2 or CS; it's another game altogether.
The rounds tends to get absolutely crazy to the point of overwhelmingly ridiculous. It might not be for everyone - but it definitely can get entertaining if you find the right server at the right time.

A gunshot fired from a distance - the next sound you hear is a scream, cut off by one more shot fired from the gun. Your muscles tighten. Your blood turns cold. You know exactly where the sounds came from, and that was the ammunition room.
The prisoners have ammo.

Way back when Jailbreak wasn't as anal-retentive and CT/Guard/BLU/Warden-biased as it is now, you were allowed to pick up ammo that the BLU Guards dropped. Some servers who run Jailbreak still apply this and HOPEFULLY do still apply this, but I'm not sure how easy it is to run away from CTs now that a lot of servers have no crits on for RED, all-crits (even amplified damage) and custom warden models what the fuck is that garbage I should be able to tell what goddamn class you are in a TF2-based JailbreakΒ on for BLU. This was most likely based off ba_hopjb and ba_minecart since I remember the two having a lot of vents (before they nerfed the one vent in Minecart that goes to Armoury, some servers may have corrected this).
I'm sure it's still possible, though, but on BLU biased maps like Chretien where somebody who has good map awareness will stay behind to watch armoury or even camp it, it's a little tougher. Β

I showed this to the owner of the server the moment I saw this. This is fucking golden and you nailed not on the general shenanigans of what usually goes on in Jailbreak but you did it perfectly in the TF2 spirit of things.
