Hours passed as the two detectives went over their findings, heresay they'd overheard, pictures they'd seen, books which seemd oddly abundant throughout the fair, anything the duo had managed to scrounge together during the course of their investigation.

They all mixed together to create an unusual consistency, words kept being brought up, images reappearing, and the books the ladies had taken during their time here, were infact all copies of each other.

Neither of them were comforted by their findings.

With the hearsay, tourists had sometimes heard the staff muttering to themselves, about how "It will return", "The night is needed" and "More are needed", dismissed by their sources as the workers being a bit off kilter, but to Elena and Amanda, they were the first step to something darker.

Many pictures had been taken throughout the fair, very few of use, mostly selfies and people showing off with swords and bows, some of which even starred Elena in her gypsy get up (With special mention to one of her attempting to lift a battleaxe).

But, unintentionally, in the backgrounds of the few useful shots they had scrambled together, a sign kept reappearing, yellow, like two question marks fused together with a tail, like nothing they'd seen before, yet it was seemingly scattered throughout this fair, in the back of a room, under tables, hidden, yet omnipresent.

All of this led them to the books they had found during the case, word for word clones of each other, from what they had gathered, there was atleast one of such book in every building that had been built for the renaissance, guaranteed, like a bible in a hotel room.

Yet this was like no bible neither of them had read.

It talked of gods. Before time.

About how they slept under the Earth.

About how they would awake again.

About how your mind would splinter upon the merest glimpse of such a being.

This study distracted them from the man at the door. Staring with a robotic look in his eyes. Hearing what they were saying to each other.

They decided to investigate what happened at night, what was so "Needed" about it.

They would soon find out.
