On the RSS reader, the first feed remains Google News, no matter what. The name will change but the feed remains the same.

You've got a typo there; instead of "Century Gothic" under the "Styles" area, you've got "Centuey Gothic". Was that intentional?

How do I change the location for the weather? I also need to change the km to miles. And also the apps on the launcher panel. annnnnd the mail.

I love this skin but am having trouble changing the weather location. I am very new to customization and don't know code. I'm just a geek girl messing around but would love to have this weather skin on my desktop. However, I don't live in Latvia, so that weather doesn't really work.

I love this skin, but can someone help me with a little problem I have? I want to change the battery part in the systems panel to my D disk, how do I do that? (I use rainmeter on my desktop, so there's no point in showing the battery, it's always 100%).
I changed the battery part to the following, but it shows up empty:

Somehow I couldn't get the gmail panel to work, I tried entering my gmail name without the @gmail.com but it still shows it as N/A : /

Few little quirks. For the RSS feed. You cannot change the first one in the config file, you have the google RSS hardcoded:

For the Network IP Address it's a similar thing, except it's hardcoded as a null:

One thing I can't figure out now is getting the CPU speed thing to change properly. With the turbo boost feature of Intel CPUs, it only shows the base non-boost MHz. Thoughts on that?

When I made this I had an AMD K8 and it worked for its Cool'n'Quiet feature, now I have Intel ivy bridge. I've fixed the turbo clock in a newer skin, take a look at the code in this one fav.me/d6xvv89
btw, I'm aware of all the code errors I've made in this skin, I just don't have the time to fix it, I much rather code a new skin bit by bit with new features and improved (G)UI.

Hey , the middle menu here seems to work smoother than the newer version , still a bit tricky to change the layout of the links for instance if you use your own websites.

Yes, it is possible. You just need to make a copy of the folder containing the mail *.ini file and activate the copy.

Is there anyway to create my own game panels? I'd actually like to make some that simply launch certain apps. I'm using this as a HTPC setup, so large, easy to click on panels are ideal.

Yes, there is a way. Locate the skin's gaming panels folder, by right clicking any of the gaming panels, choose the first option from the drop-down menu and go one folder back in your explorer, now just copy any one of the folders (or don't copy) and edit/rename the folder and files in it as you like.
Note, the images must be 400x95 pixels in resolution.

Try the path with and without quotation marks. I can't help much at the moment, because I'm not working on the project for more than half a year, if it still doesn't work just say, I'll try to fix it myself.

What did you end up doing that got it to work? I'm having the same problems. I did create custom images for eve and skyrim so that might be a part of the problem (although I don't see how).

Maybe you've already figured it out but for anyone else reading this might help. i had the same problem until i realized i hadn't refreshed it. Every time a change is made you need to refresh even changing the txt file. Hope this helped someone at least.

Hi, I just wanted to know that I had to change the User.ini as some of the paths didn't work. You've set the path for the start button and text as: ["#SkinsPath#Desk Cloud 2\Resources\OpenStartMenu.exe"] But the folder in the download is called DC2. It should be: ["#SkinsPath#DC2\Resources\OpenStartMenu.exe"]. I also had to change the desktop path to: ["Shell

So, this is a really good suite, except I'm having some of the same issues that others are.
1. the update doesn't work, unless you need to download this in order to have the update work.
2. Changing the icons is a complete pain. You state that there's over 80 something icons you can choose from, however you don't mention where these icons are. I've looked in every folder that is tagged under this name and that of Rainmeter and other than my own downloaded icons, there's nothing from this suite.
3. From reading the comments, it would probably save you the headache and time if you just wrote up a how to. If you're going to take the time to do this right, as well as set up a YouTube video about it, why not just make a how to readme/video on how to do this? Many of the comments have been about setting up the weather, changing the panels, the launcher, etc. I fyou just included a readme on how to go about customizing this, you wouldn't be answering so many of the same questions.
I finally got the icons to work, but again, a listing of the icons that can be used would be helpful, as well as the size needed in order to insert your own icons. Not everyone is using the same programs (for instance, I NEVER use iTunes, I use Windows Media Center) and I have the icon for it, but can't use it as I can't get the image to show up.
Again, a helpful how to would be useful, especially for those who might not know/are new to rainmeter.

1)Forget the update, some moron reported it for malware, instead use the beta in description.
2) There is space for 84 different icons, not icons itself and if you'd want to change them or add some, you'd first check the size of the originals - ain't that hard if you know how to make an icon. I don't remember much, but icons should be in the launchers root directory.
3) There actually is a video tutorial in the description.
3.5) New beta's setup panel is pretty much self-explanatory.
4) I don't use iTunes either. (:
Sorry if I've disappointed you with all this set up madness, but I really don't have time for doing any more Rainmeter and stuff, in fact there won't even be a new beta version of this skin till Christmas holidays.
