Thank you so much! I miss my long hair but I learned to like my new look. Hair has grown even more and is totally curly now. I know this might pass but it's so much fun at the moment.

Fellow survivor, it's amazing how many you meet once you have been through this. It's filling me with hope since usually you only hear about the deaths. Got my next - second - checkup next week and I'm already anxious. Wish I was over with that.

Hope your checkup went well!

The anxiety reduces with each checkup, I promise. For me, 3 years later, the annual CT scans and endoscopies, the quarterly doctor visits and blood-work are now just a part of life. I still get a little nervous right before the yearly stuff, but nothing like it was early on.
