Marietta Richardson, born 1376. Her real name isn't known anymore, she took on her recent one in late 19th century when she married a wealthy merchant. He wanted to become a vampire but Marietta didn't grant the wish in the end because she found out he was cheating on her with the maid.
They both disappeared the next night.
Marietta is among the Elders, Vampires who lived for more than five centuries.
She is the first one to welcome Tyron in the Clan after Elijah turned the young man.
They instantly begin to flirt, much to Elijah's dismay. When a relationship blooms between them Elijah's jealousy gets out of hand. Marietta has nothing against him but she is not the type of girl who allows men to insult her.
