well that went better than expected!this is one of those things where I'm worried people will be a little put off from a problem getting a resolution like this, and all I can do is just kinda tug my collar and hope my reasons will come through soon enough, lol. also, for the sake of plot and creative licence, let's pretend that leech life isn't an absolutely garbage move, and especially against a flying type, ahem
(next update will probably be super soon because I just want to move on from this forest finally oh my god)

Yeah, I wish leech life in general could have some "better" versions like absorb does! Especially since that's a thing lots of bugs do anyway (butterflies and all), but oh well.

How does he know where to hit if he's blind tho??

He's got a much better sense of hearing than normal, which helps him sense subtle sounds that most people normally can't hear to help perceive what's going on (hence why last page, he could hear the Farfetch'd shuffling about nearby, while Leon couldn't). He's also very attuned to feeling vibrations in the earth and of sound bouncing off other objects. All and all, despite the lack of sight, he still does pretty well for himself! :V
