This is a good tutorial. I will have to try this out. I wonder what you do, for example, when the vectors are super-numerous like in trees, for example. It seems like that would take forever.
In any case, if you like Dream Theater, you should check out these bands also:
- Sun Caged
- Lemur Voice (both Marcel Coenen bands)
- Vanden Plas (German band)
- Porcupine Tree
- Bozzio Levin Stevens
- Liquid Tension Experiment (where they got Jordan Rudess from, BTW)
- I Mother Earth
- Wolverine
- Atomship
any of the above bands are as good or better than DT...

I'm pretty sure Dream Theater will be my choice when doing vectors... Theses guys are awesome... Hve to find my 'Images and Words' cd...
