OMG ok sorry there was this person who sent me a PM at GFX gfxartist.com and he pointed me to your tut
and he said he was going to work on this tut I thought this was him *who made this tut* but what he meant was he was going to read the tut and do it lol
man what a mix up
I thought it was him who wrote this
either way its a great tut *btw I am a TUT FREAK*
also since I thought it was him who wrote this tut I asked him if I could use this tut at VP Vectorpeeps.com BUT like I said it was a mix up
so now I will ask you since you are the author hehe
I would like to feature your tut on Vectorpeeps.com
'man' you must be confused by now..

can this be done is photoshop the same way? or only llustrator?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
under18carbon In reply to ThE-UnKO-LeMa [2006-01-24 06:57:07 +0000 UTC]
The base techniques is more or less pretty similiar, I do think they can be applied either way.
However, if you are keen on using Photoshop, you might want to check out *donbenni . He has 2 very informative tutorials on tooning cars in Photoshop, and currently there is a 3rd tutorial in progress. Best of luck!

thanx for that- I really love good vector art which has smooth shadows and whatnot, but have always been dazzled about the technique- thanx for the insight and the links

Great little tut!
If you like the heavy tunes to work along with (as I do..) try listening to some Sonic X for your next musical trip...
If you like John Petrucci's playing...you'll like Lawrence Falcomer!

Cheers!

Wow man, thanks for the tips. I had always inked my drawings in PS7 in a fashion simular to this, but I never thought about doing this with everyday objects! I just did a quick vector of my car and it turned out great! Thanks again!
