That reminds me, what about Silver Spoon? Wasn't she just as much of a bully as Diamond Tiara? Granted she stood up to her and didn't voted for her but still.

Silver Spoon did have one or two nice moments (like being the first to applaud after Granny Smith's story). I always thought it was DT's influence that made her act like a bully most of the time.

So here is my question.... "What does Diamond Tiara's Cutie mark mean?" I've seen the new episode but her CM still eludes me.

I think it's her dominance. The tiara represents power. If your powerful, you can make people and ponies do stuff for you

The best way I can describe it is how she put it: she's good at getting other's to do what she wants. In other words, manipulation.
But here's the important part: Just how is she going to order people around? Is she going to get others to do something that will benefit her, or is she going to get them to do something that will benefit everyone?
I have a feeling that she can make a great leader, now that she is starting to do the latter.

I agree completely. Her personal superpower is her ability to influence people around her. Everypony used to obey her anyway but it was always out of fear. Once she stopped acting like an evil queen and acted more gracious... like a princess (hence the tiara), she finally connected with her special ability. As long as she asked nicely, gave encouragement, and made sure what she wanted benefited others (not just herself) ponies were more than happy to do what she asked. Kind of a parallel to the CMC's revelation. The moment they decided to stop focusing on themselves and reached out to help other ponies their Marks manifested.
I just want to see Tiara apologize to Scootaloo for making fun of her handicap.

Baby Steps. That will probably take a while. It was interesting to see in the episode that she didn't immediatly become a perfectly friendly filly, as we would expect. Habit takes time to break, so I am glad they had that in the show as well. She was trying to be nice at the end, but didn't always say things in the Best way she could.

I admit, this episode hit home for me, with Diamond Tiara's attitude explained by her mother's teachings and influence, it really came close to my own experience growing up. Not hubris per say, but a toxic environment that influenced me as a child. It was only after I broke that I had finally started forging my own path to follow. Problem was I didn't have any friends to lean on to help me. Was, and still is, the toughest journey of my life.
