There are few like me left. Sadly my kind became quite stubborn. They abandon the gifts our makers gave them thinking it makes them somehow superior, but not me! They limited themselves to just their senses, closing themselves off from the truths of this universe hiding right beside them. Truths like you! Always trying to measure, to quantify, categorize, compartmentalize, analyze, to see, to feel... not realizing there is so much more out there that our puny minds just can't even begin to unravel! Bah, how lost my people are!

I stand corrected. Is his face some sort of nanomachine array or holographic projection then, because the other Horovine seem to look distantly inhuman with their blank robot faces. I initially thought they might be wearing environment suits, but given that Soril's "hair" is visible outside it, that would be kinda ruin the whole point of a sealed suit.

I see that Sigma's gonna get very philosophical, ain't it? XD What with all the factions and their opposing creeds. Not that I mind, I have a fondness for abstract ideas sci-fi with a dose of the surreal.

Yeeeesssss Sigma probably will get into weird territory. At the moment I sort of want it to be like an insane Terry Gillian movie. Brazil and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen are probably the biggest influences. I guess I feel like a lot of modern sci-fi has sort of fallen into the trap of trying to be as grounded in empirical science as they can, forgetting that the reason a lot of people liked sci-fi was because of the magic and mystery that technology presented. If you look at the most famous and loved sci-fi stories throughout history, the ones that dive into the mystical and supernatural *cough, the Force, cough* are always at the top.

I completely agree with you there. As much as I like to stay at least somewhat grounded in reality for my comic, I also love all the abstract WTF ideas that can be explored. One of my future project concepts deals heavily with different realities merging together, inspired by the work of Chiaki Konaka (wrote some really bizarre sci-fi anime like Serial Experiments Lain and The Big O) and David Lynch. 8D

This...is... excellent. Excellent modelling, posing, lighting... The environment is great, the characters are very expressive (which is impressive for one that doesn't have any facial feature), the scene looks very lively... Long story short, you keep improving every scene and it shows.
