Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VJiHK…Next to Slippy, the Aparoids apparently have a fanbase I never knew existed and are pretty often requested. I always liked the general concept of the Aparoids. They are for all intents and purposes how the Borg were originally designed in Star Trek, until budget and lack of special effects forced them to be guys in a costume instead of logically superior multi limbed insectoids. They were just poorly executed in their first and only appearance, much like Star Fox: Assault in general. The poor game was rushed out the door in under two years sadly.
Anyway, check out this playthrough of a level where I blow up a nest of the poor buggers.

Nice work with this. Really gives you a feel of what to expect in the mission. It would be nice to see something like this for every mission.

I still maintain that the dialogue subtitles are too small to see during the action.

Fortunately their size can be changed in the options menu. Additionally I imagine they will be a little less important when voices are finally implemented. Then there's also the fact that they look big enough when playing the game fullscreen vs a compressed video on youtube.
