I must say this is absolutely fantastic. If HTW was ever to be ported to any other grand-strategy like game, this should definitely be the cornerstone.

Here's hoping Warhammer: Total War has actual modding tools like Medieval 2. Sadly Rome 2 and Attila are so modder unfriendly and have no tools.

Hopefully it'll be so. Besides, moving from Warhammer to Zelda doesn't seem to be such a daring leap. Perhaps the engine lends itself more towards the kinds of things you want to achieve.
